The Uran Cultural Foundation in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul presents its second fiber art exhibition "Texture of Rest," running through Oct. 2, open daily from 11:00 to 19:00 (closed Sundays and public holidays), about 120 m from Seongsu Station (Line 2), Exit 4.

The exhibition offers modern people — who are losing their sense of self amid a flood of information and relationships — a moment to "re-weave" their scattered selves through the fiber's intrinsic material qualities of "connection" and "patience."

Here, fiber transcends being a mere object of appreciation; it becomes a "living healing journey" that crosses inner thresholds, honestly passes through the depths of pain, and leads toward genuine peace. This suggests that true serenity can only be met when we face pain rather than turn away from it. Switch off the external noise for a while, hold a deep conversation with your inner self, and experience the purified texture of rest you will finally reach.
