Free 'Seoul, Sings with the World' Music Festival: K-Pop Choir & Acapella at 3 Landmarks (Aug 21-23)

From August 21 to 23, Seoul hosts the free music festival 'Seoul, Sings with the World' at three iconic spots — Namsan Park Octagonal Plaza, Yeouido Hangang Park Event Plaza, and Cheonggyecheon Plaza. Performances start at 6 p.m. each evening, and foreign visitors can attend free of charge with foreign-language interpretation available.

Performance lineup

The festival turns major sightseeing spots into public cultural stages where citizens and international visitors perform together:

・Acapella renditions of world classics

・Korean art song (K-gagok) choir

・K-Pop choir (audience sing-along welcome)

・Traditional Korean instrument performances

・Gugak (Korean traditional music) rhythm participation

・Joint stage featuring citizens and musicians

Three sessions schedule

・Fri, Aug 21, 18:00-20:00 — Namsan Park Octagonal Plaza

・Sat, Aug 22, 18:00-19:00 — Yeouido Hangang Park Event Plaza

・Sun, Aug 23, 18:00-19:00 — Cheonggyecheon Plaza

・Yeouido Hangang Park: Line 5, Yeouinaru Station Exit 2, about 155 m walk
