Pokémon GO's 10th anniversary celebrations are coming to Taipei! Taipei Metro has teamed up with Pokémon GO to launch a special anniversary exhibition at the Daan Park Station Sunlight Hall from August 15 to September 13, complete with Pikachu and Eevee meet-and-greet sessions that trainers won't want to miss.

The headline attraction is the Pikachu & Eevee Meet-and-Greet on August 15 and 16, with five sessions each day at 11:00, 12:30, 14:00, 15:30 and 17:00. Fans can get up close with their favourite Pokémon characters at the Sunlight Hall, and completing on-site tasks earns exclusive 10th anniversary commemorative gifts.

The same venue hosts the 10th Anniversary Exhibition, running from August 15 through September 13 under the theme "Celebrating 10 Years." The display revisits the adventures of the past decade and features themed photo zones and a message wall where trainers can snap pictures and jot down their hopes for future journeys

Those who want to try the physical card game can also join the "New Trainer Journey" — a Pokémon Trading Card Game hands-on event on August 15–16 and September 5–6, open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 with staff on hand to teach newcomers the rules.

Beyond the on-site events, Pokémon GO also offers limited-time in-game content. Through September 13, players who spin PokéStops at Taipei Metro stations (excluding the Circular Line and Maokong Gondola) can collect five new event-themed postcards while riding the MRT.
