The highly anticipated Kaohsiung Family Amusement Park officially opens on August 8, 2026! A stunning transformation of the former Taiwan Railway Kaohsiung Depot, this 1.5-hectare semi-indoor family entertainment space is being billed as Taiwan's largest indoor family playground. Featuring over 30 play facilities and attractions, admission is completely free — making it the perfect summer destination for families with kids of all ages.
Meanwhile, Shoushan Zoo — nestled within Shoushan National Nature Park — is offering free admission for children under 12 through August 31. Home to a diverse collection of native Taiwanese and exotic wildlife, Shoushan Zoo remains one of Kaohsiung's most beloved family attractions.
