【Exhibition Overview】

    Rooted in the lighting industry cluster of Guzhen, Zhongshan, known as the “Capital of Lighting in China” with an annual output value exceeding RMB 100 billion, this exhibition is positioned as a “professional source exhibition connecting global buyers.” Under the guidance of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Government, it is jointly hosted by the China Association of Lighting Industry and the Lighting Capital of China (Zhongshan · Guzhen). The main venue is located at the Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, with multiple leading lighting malls in the town participating as co-venues. Over 3,000 renowned enterprises have joined, aiming to empower industry players and create new momentum for industrial growth.

    The lighting industry in Guzhen is the town's leading industry and economic pillar. Since its inception in 1982, it has developed into a mature industrial cluster centred around Guzhen, covering three surrounding cities and eleven towns and streets, with an annual output value exceeding RMB 100 billion. It is a world-renowned professional lighting market and the largest lighting production base and wholesale market in China. To date, it has established a regional international trade platform integrating multiple trading methods, with products selling well across the country and exported to over 130 countries and regions, earning high recognition and reputation within the industry.

    Since its launch in 1999, the exhibition has been successfully held for more than 30 editions and is widely recognised by the industry as a barometer of the global lighting industry and a leading lighting procurement platform in the Asia-Pacific region. The 33rd autumn edition to be held in 2025 will feature a total exhibition area exceeding 1.5 million square metres, with over 1,000 exhibitors at the main venue, and together with 8 sub-venues, it will form a brand-new “1+8+N” exhibition framework.

【Exhibit Layout】

    This edition has been optimised and upgraded based on the original zones, including indoor decorative lighting, comprehensive exhibition zone, residential lighting, commercial lighting, and outdoor lighting, with the addition of a new specialised lighting zone. A wide range of project-based lighting products with specific functions can find suitable exhibiting resources in this zone.

    The exhibition features a dedicated manufacturing zone serving the lighting industry, covering machinery production, raw materials, components and accessories, and supporting services, in line with the new industry trends of production automation and diversified customisation.

    Current exhibits cover core categories including smart lighting, residential lighting, commercial lighting, outdoor lighting, specialised lighting, machinery and equipment, and auxiliary accessories, extending to pan-home furnishing sectors such as ceramic sanitary ware and smart locks. The main venue is thematically organised across halls:

    - Hall A focuses on smart lighting, showcasing cutting-edge industry achievements such as intelligent sensing and light control systems and AI dimming

    - Hall B emphasises residential and commercial lighting, introducing light environment displays such as natural light simulation and circadian rhythm adjustment

    - Hall C displays outdoor lighting, cultural tourism lighting, and smart street lighting products

    - Hall D is dedicated to production and processing machinery

    - Hall E features lighting accessories and materials

    Tens of thousands of “specialised, refined, distinctive, and innovative” products and cutting-edge technologies will make a collective debut, covering popular areas such as elderly-friendly lighting, photovoltaic energy storage, and smart street lighting.

    The Guzhen Lighting Fair boasts unparalleled advantages of an industrial cluster and a platform for precise matchmaking with global buyers. Guzhen currently hosts more than 20,000 lighting-related enterprises, accounting for 70% of the national market share and 50% of the global lighting market share, with products exported to over 180 countries and regions.

    The main venue of the 2025 Autumn Fair attracted nearly 76,000 professional visitors, including over 4,800 overseas buyers from 144 countries and regions, setting new records for the autumn lighting fair in terms of both overseas buyer numbers and country coverage. The exhibition attracts over 350,000 buyer visits annually, covering more than 180 countries and regions worldwide.

    The exhibition provides a one-stop trading platform covering the entire lighting industry chain, keeping pace with the three major industry trends of “intelligence, green development, and internationalisation,” and establishing a technology innovation hub integrating industry, academia, research, and application. It serves as a core strategic gateway for domestic enterprises to explore global markets, connect with international resources, and showcase innovation capabilities.

【Concurrent Supporting Events】

    More than 20 high-end industry conferences and forums will be held concurrently with the exhibition, providing attendees and exhibitors with opportunities for close exchanges with industry experts, keeping abreast of the latest industry developments, and capturing market information and business opportunities.

    At the 2025 exhibition, the nation's first AI large-model application platform for the lighting industry — Xingyao Zhihui — was launched. Jointly developed by the Guzhen Town Government, Zhongshan Telecom, and industry enterprises, the platform is built around a self-developed AI vertical model, connecting the entire industry chain from R&D and design, precision marketing, to smart services. At the opening ceremony, 20 key projects completed contract signings with a total investment of RMB 2.5 billion.
