About

【Exhibition Overview】

In order to promote the healthy development of Jiangxi's non-ferrous metals industry, facilitate foreign economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, and guide local industries to align with international standards, the organising committee, together with government authorities and industry associations, has launched the China (Jiangxi) International Non-ferrous Metals and Metallurgical Industry Exhibition after extensive grassroots market research and project analysis.

Jiangxi is a renowned industrial hub in China. The first aircraft of New China, the first diesel wheeled tractor, the first military sidecar motorcycle, the first naval defence missile, and components for the first man-made satellite were all born here. Today, the manufacturing of components for the C919 large passenger aircraft has also been deployed in this province.

The non-ferrous metals industry is the number one pillar industry of Jiangxi Province. Under the new requirements of dual control over energy consumption, the dual carbon policy, and high-quality development, strengthening and expanding the non-ferrous metals industry is not only an inevitable requirement for Jiangxi to transform from a province with abundant non-ferrous metals resources into a province with a strong industry, but also a crucial lever for Jiangxi to achieve its carbon peak target by 2030.

Jiangxi enjoys superior geological conditions for mineral formation and is exceptionally rich in mineral resources. It is an important production base for non-ferrous metals, rare metals, rare earth, and uranium in China. The seven major categories of minerals — copper, tungsten, rare earth, uranium, tantalum-niobium, gold, and silver — are famously known as the "Seven Golden Flowers." Relying on its abundant local non-ferrous mineral resources, Jiangxi's non-ferrous metals industry has developed rapidly, with continuously expanding industrial scale and steadily rising development standards. It has already become the number one pillar industry of Jiangxi, a trillion-yuan industry that the province focuses on cultivating, and truly the ballast stone of Jiangxi's manufacturing sector. According to Jiangxi Province's "2+6+N" industrial high-quality leapfrog development action plan, the province's total non-ferrous industry revenue is expected to reach the trillion-yuan scale in the future.
