Egypt Sahara Agricultural Exhibition
Details
About【Exhibition Overview】
The Sahara Expo, established in 1987, is the largest agricultural industry event in Egypt and forms part of Informa's regional and global exhibition and business intelligence platform.
The core objective of the exhibition is to build a bridge for trade and business exchange between regional and global markets, bringing together practitioners from across the entire agricultural sector on a single platform.
Given the wide range of agricultural sub-sectors, the exhibition covers the vast majority of agriculture-related fields, helping farmers, investors, traders and other groups to connect with resources and expand their agricultural businesses.
This edition of the exhibition focuses on developing agricultural systems as its core goal. Agricultural systems are a vital cornerstone of economic development, and the exhibition echoes the development vision of Egypt's agricultural sector, helping to achieve food security, expand strategic crop production, and drive investment in agriculture and the implementation of national agricultural projects.
The exhibition is held in a region that serves as a commercial hub and crop production centre for Egypt and North Africa. Sponsored by Egypt's Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, the exhibition helps agricultural participants at all levels build professional networks — from individual farmers to large agribusinesses and government entities — all of whom can access new agricultural technologies and the latest industry information here.
The Sahara Expo is also the best trade platform for Chinese agricultural enterprises to explore the Egyptian market. The 2025 edition of the exhibition will be held at the Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
