Details
About【Exhibition Overview】
The Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, known in English as Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair, is one of the most prominent and long-standing trade exhibitions in the jewellery industry in Southeast Asia.
This fair serves as a core trading platform for professionals in the global gem and jewellery industry to engage in sourcing and cooperation. It has now grown into another world-renowned jewellery industry event in Asia, following the Hong Kong International Jewellery & Watch Fair. The fair is held twice a year, helping jewellery buyers and traders from around the world build marketing networks and establish long-term, stable customer partnerships.
【Exhibition Scale】
The fair attracts exhibitors and visitors from 18 countries and regions each year, including the United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, the United States, China, and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The previous edition covered a total exhibition area of 47,000 square metres, featuring 1,100 exhibiting companies from various countries and regions worldwide, with a total of 40,000 visitors in attendance. For the February 2025 edition, 1,078 exhibitors were registered, and the venue was the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.
【Exhibits Highlights】
Thailand has long been renowned as the "Kingdom of Jewellery". Over 80% of the world's rubies and sapphires are produced and processed in Thailand before being exported globally. Thailand is also a major producer of silver jewellery, ranking second only to Italy in output, while the consumption of diamond and precious metal ornaments is also growing rapidly.
At this fair, loose gemstones and silver jewellery account for the largest share of exhibits, with coloured gemstones being the core products emphasised by the organisers, reflecting Thailand's international status as the "World Capital of Coloured Gemstones". Visitors can not only admire a wide range of unique jewellery collections, but also enjoy special jewellery shows and award ceremonies.
