Ratchadamnoen Boxing Stadium is a royal‑system Muay Thai stadium, founded in 1945. Although the skill levels of fighters in both venues are comparable, this stadium has a slightly higher prestige. Match days at Bangkok's Ratchadamnoen Boxing Stadium are in the early evenings of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, with Thursday's matches being the most exciting.

Thai people often wait under a cramped iron shed from 6 pm until late at night, just to watch a thrilling Muay Thai match. Starting from the most basic bouts, one after another, never getting bored. A stall owner at the night market, who was watching a Muay Thai broadcast on TV, said with a hint of emotion: "Muay Thai can be considered a symbol of Thailand. Almost every Thai man grows up watching Muay Thai matches. It gives people the courage to fight, and in fact, it's also a kind of courage not to fear pain."
