Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai fully integrates rare marine animals, top‑notch amusement rides and novel large‑scale performances, striving to become a world‑class, largest, most ride‑rich and most imaginative marine animal theme park. Ocean Kingdom boasts eight themed zones and can receive up to 50,000 visitors per day. Here, we have carefully set up 10 rare animal exhibition halls, 9 thrilling amusement rides, 3 large theatre performances, 19 specialty restaurants, multiple themed shops and kiosks, as well as float parades, central lake performances and other outdoor shows.

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom Park Zones
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom features eight themed zones: Rainforest Flying, which focuses on thrilling excitement; Ocean Wonder, which offers world‑class entertainment and viewing; Hero Island, which is suitable for children's rides and family fun; Dolphin Cove, which focuses on dolphin viewing; Polar Expedition, which is designed around an ice and snow theme; Walrus Hill, which is water‑themed; Hengqin Sea, which focuses on performances; and Ocean Avenue, which is for welcome, sightseeing, shopping and leisure. Eight different themes bring you eight different stories, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the marine world and enjoy the diverse wonders that marine animals bring.

▼ Explore Ocean Avenue
Entering the entrance of Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, you will arrive at the first zone – Ocean Avenue. What catches your eye is the dynamic LED screen above, which vividly displays the colourful underwater world, with lifelike marine animals drawing constant exclamations of wonder. On both sides of Ocean Avenue are various souvenir shops, which not only offer adorable merchandise but also allow you to take home great photos from your visit.

▼ Magical Sea Lion Village – Walrus Hill
After passing through the Ocean Avenue passage, the area on the left, from south to north, consists of Walrus Hill, Hero Island and Polar Expedition. Walrus Hill is water‑themed and is home to animals such as South American sea lions and South African fur seals. You can also enjoy rides such as Rapid Rafting and Super Rapids. The rapids ride cleverly combines a roller coaster with wave surfing, passing through two towering walruses, splashing water everywhere, and offering an exhilarating journey of crazy spins and high‑speed plunges.

▼ Happy Family Zone – Hero Island
Hero Island is the family playground within Ocean Kingdom, featuring a touch pool, ray pool, otter world, mini submarines, bumper boats and other play areas, making it ideal for parents to enjoy with their children.

▼ Ice and Snow World – Polar Expedition
Polar Expedition is centred around an ice and snow landscape, where you can see adorable penguins, polar bears and beluga whales.

If you love penguins, do not miss the Penguin Hall in the Polar Expedition zone. After successfully hatching two emperor penguin chicks in August 2016, Chimelong successfully bred emperor penguin chicks again in June 2017. Emperor penguin chicks, which you could previously only see in documentaries, can now be observed up close.

The Iceberg Roller Coaster, located in the Polar Expedition zone, combines a roller coaster experience with animal viewing. On this ride, you will first pass through a gentle stretch where you can see adorable brown bears greeting you, visit the polar bear village amid the snow, and then experience a sudden sharp descent, sharp mountain turns and a unique journey of breaking through ice and gliding on water as you cross the summit of the iceberg.

▼ Caribbean Coral Reef – Dolphin Cove
The area on the right of Ocean Avenue, from south to north, consists of Dolphin Cove and the Rainforest Flying zone. As the name suggests, Dolphin Cove focuses on dolphin viewing. In this dolphin hub, bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins and other family members are waiting to say hello to you!

The Dolphin Theatre can accommodate nearly 6,000 spectators. Each performance features multiple dolphins performing on stage together with a troupe of actors and trainers, presenting a touching musical that embodies the harmonious coexistence of humans and animals. It is definitely a must‑see show at Ocean Kingdom. Dolphins are loving and enthusiastic, perfectly coordinated with their trainers, excelling in ball skills and hoop jumping.

The Castle Cinema can accommodate over 1,000 people. Here, you will enjoy a breathtaking 5D fantasy blockbuster. Seated in dynamic seats, you will embark on a thrilling adventure with mascots Kaka and Qiqi, experiencing the excitement of aerial flight, deep‑sea diving and combat chases, traversing mountains and seas, dodging piranhas, and engaging in an ultimate battle against the giant squid villain to save the Ocean Kingdom.

▼ Thrilling – Rainforest Flying
The amusement facilities in the Rainforest Flying zone are among the most thrilling and exciting in the entire Chimelong Ocean Kingdom park. There are many rides to try here, including the Parrot Roller Coaster, which is nearly 1,300 metres long and nearly 20 storeys high. Experience the intense thrill of the long roller coaster and enjoy the sensation of adrenaline soaring, leaving you craving more!

▼ Magic Lake – Hengqin Sea
Along the central axis of Ocean Avenue lie Hengqin Sea and Ocean Wonder. The Hengqin Sea zone focuses on performances, featuring spectacular parade shows, magical musical fountains and an unmissable evening fireworks display.

The Ocean Spectacular Fireworks Show is a special Chimelong production, creating a tense and thrilling storyline and combining lighting, fountains, drones, lasers, fireworks and other special effects with performer acts, delivering an incredibly stunning visual experience.

▼ Captivating Ocean Wonder
Ocean Wonder is a large whale shark exhibition hall. The 68‑metre‑high Whale Shark Hall is a marine fish exhibition hall and one of the most popular venues in Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. It holds five Guinness World Records, displays as many as 20,000 rare fish, and is fitted with acrylic glass – just its exterior alone looks incredibly impressive.
