Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong Theatre is the second permanent performance venue of Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Resort. Completed and opened in 2019, it is located at the centre of the resort, connecting the scenic pedestrian street along Fu Xiang River and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. With a total construction area of approximately 63,000 square metres, it features 6,700 audience seats and a modern three‑storey special‑effects venue that integrates "land, water and air" three‑dimensional experiences. It adopts a 270° panoramic circular stage and 3 surrounding water channels, as well as an overhead circular track spanning over 250 metres. The brand‑new circus show, Zhuhai Hengqin "Chimelong Show", was created by a world‑class team and directed by a descendant of a Russian circus family. Tips 1 Upgrade your circus seat

When attending the grand circus show, only those who have purchased VIP seats need to sit in their assigned seats within the VIP area. All other standard seats are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis and do not require assigned seating. Since the theatre is very large, where you sit determines how well you can enjoy the entire performance. However, if you have purchased a standard ticket, you may upgrade your seat on‑site at the venue if VIP tickets are still available!

**There are two locations at Chimelong Theatre for on‑site seat upgrades: one is the ticket counter, and the other is a dedicated upgrade point at the "Wonder Train" on the 2nd floor inside the theatre.

Tips 2 Sit near the central VIP area

If you are unable to purchase VIP seat tickets, try to sit as close to the VIP area as possible — the closer to the centre of the stage, the better! This is because performers mostly face the VIP area during the show, which is also the central seating zone of the theatre.

Tips 3 Sit higher up

Sitting higher is better than sitting to the side. Sitting to the side may seem closer to the stage, but the view is often unsatisfactory,as you cannot see the full picture of the performance and may only see the performers' backs, and some acts can only be clearly seen from the centre. On the other hand, sitting higher and towards the centre, although farther from the stage, allows you to view the performance more comprehensively, and you won't need to crane your neck during aerial acts either.

Tips 4 Elderly and children should sit farther from the stage

The circus show features acts such as Grand Splendour, Venice on Water, Crimson Drum Dance, Mystic Africa, Joyful Stunt Driving, Celestial Messengers, Speed and Passion, and Space Battle. The performances include fireworks and thrilling stunts, which may startle elderly audience members and young children. Sitting farther from the stage is therefore better for them.

Seating Arrangements for the "Chimelong Show" at Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong Theatre

1. If you purchase Standard Seats tickets, seats are allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Admission requires presenting the original valid ID document used at the time of booking. 

2. If you purchase circus tickets of different seat classes, adjacent seating cannot be guaranteed. For example, Standard Seats cannot be seated next to First Class Seats.

3. If you purchase tickets of the same seat class, such as First Class or Golden VIP, and require adjacent seating, please include the valid ID document information of all visitors who need to sit together in the same order when purchasing circus tickets. After purchase, follow the ticket collection link to obtain seat numbers as prompted, and the system will prioritise adjacent seating arrangements.

4. First Class and Golden VIP seat tickets are automatically assigned by the resort system in the order of admission reservation. Manual seat selection is not supported. If multiple visitors are travelling on the same day:

1) For a single order with multiple tickets and ID‑based ticket collection, only orders that include multiple tickets of the same visitor category are supported (e.g., an order of 4 adult tickets). Once admission reservation is successfully completed, seat numbers will be issued as adjacent seats;

2) For one ID with multiple orders, i.e., tickets purchased under the same ID document across multiple orders, you may use that ID to make admission reservations for the linked orders and select multiple orders simultaneously on the reservation pending page for one‑click booking, which will generate adjacent seat numbers;

3) For other ticket combinations or separately reserved orders, adjacent seating cannot be guaranteed.
