The Orca Science Theatre at Chimelong Spaceship Park can accommodate nearly 5,000 visitors at a time. Its large‑scale open‑sea ecological displays combine sunlight, sandy beaches, level‑six waves and natural behaviour displays of flagship ocean species such as orcas, along with vivid science narration, presenting a vibrant picture of marine ecology to visitors.

In addition, the park features multiple science classrooms and open lectures. For families with children, it offers rich themed science experiences such as "Little Coral Researcher", "Little Manatee Keeper" and "Orca Discovery Journey". This zone mainly showcases modern whales and dolphins, telling the unique evolutionary story of how cetaceans returned from land to the ocean, and how marine mammals gave rise to the vast whale and dolphin family. Multimedia machines using bone conduction and naked‑eye 3D technologies present knowledge about whale songs, echolocation, blue carbon and migration, revealing the astonishing mysteries of open‑ocean whales and dolphins. Viewing the ocean through portholes, visitors can see orcas living happily up close. Interactive multimedia displays present the most beautiful pilgrimage of the deep sea – "When a whale falls, everything thrives" – while ultra‑large 180° ring projection and holographic multimedia technology beautifully depict the process of a whale fall.
