Recommended Attractions in Hua Hin

When coming from the bustling city of Bangkok to Hua Hin, you should of course experience the resort hotels of this leisure holiday destination! Unlike Macau hotels where spending often exceeds a thousand per person, Hua Hin, as the royal family's preferred resort in Thailand, already offers a very high standard of hotels at HKD500‑1500 per person. With facilities including various infinity pools, SPA centres and private beaches, you won't get bored even if you stay in the hotel all day. The most visited attractions by travellers choosing the Bangkok‑Hua Hin one‑day car hire tour are: Hua Hin Railway Station, Santorini Park, The Venezia, Swiss Sheep Farm, Noble Beach and Maruekhathaiyawan Palace.

Hua Hin Santorini Park

The park area is divided into four zones. Stepping inside, it feels as if you have travelled through a time tunnel to the distant Greek island of Santorini, with two‑storey blue and white houses, white walls, and blue windows and railings. There is a 40‑metre‑high Ferris wheel and a double‑decker carousel. The Village Zone is a shopping area with branded fashion, daily necessities and handicrafts. The Rest Area provides a "refuelling station" for those tired of strolling, with restaurants covering a large area. Although there are not many amusement facilities, each one is highly enjoyable, and the various interactive games are most suitable for families to play together.

Hua Hin Railway Station (HuaHin Railway Station)

In China, railway stations are places people tend to avoid, basically synonymous with "dirty, messy and disorderly". Hua Hin Railway Station, on the other hand, is a "little fresh" spot full of artistic flair. Built entirely of teak wood in traditional Thai architecture, with red paint outlining the lines of beams, pillars and roofs, and large expanses of yellow on the walls, it is extremely photogenic. The station was built in 1911 during the reign of King Rama VI. It is said that the building was moved from Sanam Chan Palace in Nakhon Pathom Province, and it was here that King Rama VI once waited for his train to leave Hua Hin and return to Bangkok. The station displays old locomotives, photographs of the King inspecting the station, and tourist posters of the Bridge on the River Kwai.

Marukataiyawan Palace (Love and Hope Palace)

This royal palace was built in 1924, meticulously crafted by King Rama VI as a summer residence in the hope of having a prince, but things did not go as he wished, and he later moved to Switzerland. The entire palace is built of teak wood, with a red roof, blue facades and a cream‑coloured base, looking fresh and beautiful. All the rooms in the palace are connected by long corridors, stretching from the lawn all the way to the sea. The rooms display cultural relics and royal photographs, as well as collections of bedding and clothing once used by members of the royal family.

Hua Hin Beach

The sand on Hua Hin Beach is fine and delicate, and it has long been favoured by the Thai royal family, who built a summer palace here. To facilitate the royal family's holidays, the government built the southern railway line, gradually transforming the former fishing village into a resort destination. While other island beaches offer all kinds of bizarre adult entertainment and the like, Hua Hin has maintained its calm and elegance, upholding the dignity of a royal resort destination.

Swiss Sheep Farm
Hua Hin Sheep Farm is a Swiss‑style town where you can feed sheep by hand, and there are also lovely alpacas waiting for you!
