Chimelong Wildlife World opened in 1997, covering an area of over 2,000 mu. It is part of Guangzhou Chimelong Tourist Resort, one of the first batch of national 5A‑level tourist attractions in China. It is one of the first privately‑operated wildlife‑themed parks in China and is currently one of the largest wildlife‑themed parks in the world with the most diverse animal populations.

Chimelong Wildlife World boasts a vast area of pristine subtropical rainforest ecology, featuring large‑scale free‑range wildlife populations and unique viewing experiences via self‑driving, mini‑train, and cable car. It integrates animal and plant protection, scientific research, science education, and cultural tourism. The park features animal science education stations combining commentary and animal viewing, a rich science education corridor, lively animal classrooms, and a heart‑warming animal kindergarten.

The park is home to over 10 national treasure giant pandas, including the world's only surviving giant panda triplets "Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai, and Ku Ku", and over 60 Australian koalas spanning seven generations, making it the largest koala population outside Australia. It also houses over 500 species and more than 20,000 rare animals, including Malaysia's national treasure orangutans, Thailand's national treasure Asian elephants, and Honduras's national treasure anteaters.

Guangzhou Chimelong Wildlife World Park Introduction
▼ Aerial Cable Car
Chimelong breaks the traditional animal viewing model, bringing visitors a brand‑new viewing experience with Asia's first cable car project for viewing wildlife from the air. The transparent glass floor design allows visitors to clearly see the mountains and animals below; the zero‑noise, eco‑friendly electric design minimises disturbance to wildlife.
The three‑section route spans a total of 2.7 kilometres, with the lowest point just 1 metre above the ground. You can blow kisses to giraffes through the carriage, look down at antelopes strolling on the open ground, zebras running across the grasslands, fly alongside swans and parrots, while pandas and koalas wave at you. With computer commentary and 720° views throughout the journey, you'll enjoy an extraordinary experience of walking with beasts and flying with birds.

▼ Featured Mini‑Train Area
Take the featured mini‑train through eight primitive areas across five continents, immersing yourself in the wildness and passion of wildlife, seeing rare animal populations from around the world, exploring the East African savannah, and watching simulated animal migrations, with live animal commentary along the way. The featured mini‑train area includes Australian Forest, American Jungle, Wild Zone, Magic Forest, South African Plateau, and East African Plateau.

▼ Walking Area
★ Koala Garden
The meticulously designed Koala Garden brings visitors closer to the koalas, allowing them to stroll through towering eucalyptus forests and encounter adorable koalas. Chimelong Wildlife World's Koala Garden has become the world's largest koala breeding centre outside Australia. To date, the eucalyptus planting area has exceeded 400 mu, with nearly 100,000 trees across 13 varieties.

★ Panda Village
The giant pandas living in Panda Village each have their own adorable traits and play merrily every day. Come and witness the charm of the world's only giant panda triplets, Meng Shuai Ku, and Panda Village will fulfil your dream of seeing giant pandas in freedom.

★ Asian Elephant Garden
Asian Elephant Garden is a natural, ecological exhibition area that combines display and interaction. With flowing streams and lush greenery, the garden features multiple pools, a sports ground, and an interactive area. Here, visitors can not only witness the heart‑warming feeding of baby elephants by their mothers, but also see elephants playing in the pools. Besides visiting the elephants, visitors can also hand‑feed the Asian elephants.

★ Komodo Dragon Palace
The Komodo Dragon Palace is newly opened — hurry and bring your family and friends into this fantastic land. Travel back 4 million years to see the shimmering scales of Komodo dragons, listen to ancient legends, walk alongside giant dragons, and feel the power of nature.

★ Hundred Tigers Mountain
The white tiger is the treasure of Chimelong Wildlife World and the mascot of the Chimelong Group. Currently, Chimelong Wildlife World is home to over 150 white tigers, truly deserving the title of the World's White Tiger Kingdom. In addition to white tigers, there are six tiger species including South China tigers, golden tigers, silver tigers, Bengal tigers, and Siberian tigers, with over 300 tigers living in Chimelong Wildlife World. The ecological tiger park houses golden tigers, white tigers, silver tigers, Bengal tigers, South China tigers, and Siberian tigers, each species having its own separate living area featuring giant rocks, artificial hills, and flowing streams that perfectly simulate the tigers' natural habitat. The "Wild Playground" is a dedicated area for young tigers to play, learn skills, and frolic — these lively cubs swim, run, climb trees, and wrestle carefree in the playground.

★ Giraffe Plaza
Located opposite the Koala Garden, Giraffe Plaza is home to giraffes. With their long eyelashes, sparkling big eyes, slender necks, and long legs, they are truly the top models of the animal kingdom.
