Wuzhen Wucun Hotel (3 Days 2 Nights 1 Adult 1 Child Accommodation Inside Xizha Scenic Area)

Wucun is translated as the village of Wuzhen. It is located 500 metres north of the Xizha Historic District in Wuzhen, sitting right beside the Beijing‑Hangzhou Grand Canal, covering an area of 450 mu (approx. 30 hectares). It has a total of 186 guest rooms, all named after local cultural features. The village offers hotel accommodation, dining, entertainment and leisure experience activities. From vacationing to service, it creates a truly hassle‑free travel experience for you.
450 mu of idyllic countryside scenery, comfortable and delightful rural living, and over 20 countryside experience activities ‑ the rustic charm of Jiangnan (the region south of the Yangtze River) is truly in the air! Come here this holiday and soak up the springtime vibes of Jiangnan!
To give guests an immersive countryside living experience, the hotel has preserved the original exterior and layout of the rural farmhouses from the 1960s‑70s. From the outside, it looks just like what is described in “The Peach Blossom Spring”: “level and open land, neatly arranged houses, with fertile fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry trees and bamboo groves.”

‑ Wuzhen ‑
The waters of Wuzhen flow so quietly, just like a gentle yet resilient Jiangnan woman. With such grace, who could resist falling for her?
As night falls, the timed floodlights gradually come on, outlining the entire Xizha in crystal‑clear brilliance. Beneath the ancient trees, within the bridge arches, by the stone pillars of the water pavilions, and along the steps of the riverside piers, warm and cool tones of spot, block and linear lighting interweave and reflect off one another.
Taking a boat ride is perhaps the most delightful way to explore Xizha at night. The most concentrated night lighting scenery in Xizha is along the Xishi River. Gliding along the Xishi River by boat, it feels as though the vessel is floating atop a river of lights. The lights shimmer on the water as the oars gently row, as if slicing through a pool of scattered silver.
Passing through one stone bridge after another feels like travelling through a series of time tunnels. If you are so inclined, you can stop the boat and carefully read the pair of couplets inscribed on each bridge, each carrying a profound and lingering meaning.
