Attraction Introduction
Jiufen Old Street
The most impressive part is undoubtedly the old street area. Every time night falls, the red lanterns on both sides of the street illuminate the ancient stairways, complementing the dim yellow lights of the residential houses. The whole Jiufen mountain town is filled with a strong traditional atmosphere.

Shifen Waterfall
Shifen is located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City. The nearby tributary of the Keelung River has been eroding the riverbed for years, giving rise to many fault lines and strange rocks, thus forming the magnificent Shifen Waterfall. Along the railway, residential houses stand side by side. Strolling along the old street, you can feel the strong classical and nostalgic atmosphere it embodies.
Pingxi
The well‑known attractions in Pingxi District include Pingxi Old Street, Shifen Old Street, and Jingtong Old Street. The most distinctive features are the sky lantern culture and the coal mining industry culture. Every year during the Lantern Festival, a grand sky lantern release event is held, attracting tourists from home and abroad, which has also made Pingxi famous for sky lanterns. Although the coal mining industry was part of Pingxi's past economy, it has left behind many mining landscapes, which have naturally become tourist attractions.
Keelung Miaokou
The snacks at Keelung Miaokou can be traced back to the Japanese colonial era. Keelung Miaokou is named after its location in front of the "Dianji Temple", commonly known as the "Sacred King Temple". Miaokou boasts many famous snacks, such as shaved ice, Ding Bian Cuo, nutritious sandwiches, oyster omelettes, shrimp thick soup, bean paste soup, tempura, and more. If you want to taste these delicacies, be sure to visit Miaokou.

Jiufen Tea House
When this former golden mountain town once again caught the world's attention, the emergence of Jiufen's first art tea house not only introduced tea house culture but also sparked a craze for "going to Jiufen for tea". Driven by the mentality of "not to be outdone", subsequent competitors went all out, leading to the establishment of more than twenty distinctive tea houses in this small mining settlement.
