Taishan Xiachuan Island Qianfan Ziya Hotel Standard Room / Boutique Room (Breakfast for 2 Adults and 2 Children, Free Access to Beach and Sea Bathing Area)

In every major city, everyone longs to find a paradise on earth. On the nearest island to Guangdong — Xiachuan Island in Taishan, Jiangmen — there lies a charm you have never known. This is a “holiday paradise”.
Among the four great temptations of Guangdong's holiday islands — the “food temptation” and “outlying island temptation” — Xiachuan Island, known as the “Phuket of China”, offers breathtaking sunset sea views, where the evening glow meets city lights, silhouettes mirror the coconut palm beach, and the blue sea deepens from shallow to dark.
On Xiachuan Island, coconut trees grow in dense groves. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the waves, swim in the sea, surf, sail, or fish. Facing the vast ocean, let yourself unwind — the layers of rolling waves before your eyes make you sigh that this is a sea made for daydreaming. Here you will also find the most beautiful sunrise over the sea.
From Tai Shui Tong Bay to the Wang Fu Chau tree‑lined avenue, there is an important leisure seaside waterfront promenade stretching about 3 kilometres along the entire coastline.
Along the way, you will pass beaches such as Tai Shui Tong Bay, Nam O Bay and Wang Fu Chau. You can listen to the waves and admire the sea, or wade through the surf and play in the water. Both sides of the road are lined with lush coconut trees — you can enjoy healthy, pollution‑free coconut juice almost anywhere!
The most captivating attraction along the leisure trail is undoubtedly Wang Fu Chau. Situated on the southern side of Xiachuan Island and embraced by remarkable peaks on three sides, this tranquil bay with its intoxicating coconut charm has earned the nickname “Pattaya of China”.
Stroll along the rustling coconut palm paths, feel the sea breeze on your face, listen to the waves crashing against the rocks, and let your tense mind relax
No words about summer can compare to facing the sea right now — come and encounter the Hawaii of the East~

Play Around Xiachuan Island — Xiachuan Island offers endless seaside scenery with coconut breezes and ocean charm. Here, you can wade through the waves, play in the sand, enjoy the sunrise and sunset by the sea, and feast on fresh live seafood.
When you arrive at the pier and get off the ferry onto the island, you will need to take a shuttle bus to the scenic area and the hotel. Along the coast, coconut trees stretch for over a thousand metres — walking under the coconut palms with the sea breeze in your face is a truly special experience.
There are four walking trails to choose from: the Sea View Trail, the Countryside Trail, the Leisure Trail and the Adventure Trail. On foot or by bike, these trails run through most of Xiachuan Island — enough for a full 2 days and 1 night, along the coast, up the hills and across the fields, covering over 40 kilometres in total.
Each of these four trendy trails has its own character. Pick the one you like and take your time strolling along.
Sea View Trail Following the gentle sea breeze, wind your way along the coast. Along the way, you can gaze at beautiful offshore islands, original fishing villages, Chuen Tung Pier fishing village, the pier, eco‑agriculture bases and sandy beaches.
At Ngau Tong Bay, the rocks along the shore stand in a variety of striking formations. Standing on the rocks by the sea, you can see the water is particularly rough — but do mind your safety.
Tai Wan is the best spot on the island to watch the sunrise. The beach is shaped like a crescent moon, and it truly looks quite romantic.
Not far from Ngau Tong Bay is Ngau Tong Village, which exudes the charm of the Republican era. White walls and grey tiles, scattered in an orderly fashion, backed by hills and facing the sea, with wisps of cooking smoke rising — like a beautiful hidden paradise.
Enjoy the island scenery, watch the tides rise and fall and fishing boats dotting the sea, and take in the rural idyll — On foot: 4.5 hours, by bike: 1.5 hours
Leisure Trail From Tai Shui Tong Bay to the Wang Fu Chau tree‑lined avenue, this is an important leisure seaside waterfront promenade about 3 kilometres long.
Along the way, you will pass beaches such as Tai Shui Tong Bay, Nam O Bay and Wang Fu Chau. You can listen to the waves and admire the sea, or wade through the surf and play in the water. It is perfect for family fun — you can also hike or cycle. It is a great place to unwind.
There is a great variety of water activities here — you can rent a jet ski or a rubber boat and ride the waves in the sea, kicking up splash after splash of white foam.
On the beach, you can also catch crabs, collect seashells, build sandcastles, ride a beach buggy or play beach volleyball.
You can also set off fireworks, have a barbecue or enjoy a bonfire party at designated spots.
Here, heading out to sea to fish is also a way of life. At the Marine Pasture Station, you can experience the full joy of fishing.
Squid stay at the bottom of the water during the day and swim up to the upper layers to feed at night. At that time, choosing waters that are clear with hidden reefs is the way to catch squid.
Wander along the beautiful coastline and enjoy wading through the waves — On foot: 1.5 hours, by bike: 0.3 hours
Adventure Trail Starting from the Wang Fu Chau scenic area, the trail goes steadily upward in steps — this is the Adventure Trail, and it sounds quite thrilling.
Follow the mountain path all the way through the forest and climb up to Guan Yin Mountain, where rolling green hills unfold before your eyes, and you can also look down upon the beauty of the bay.
The best vantage point for viewing Xiachuan Island is probably at the summit of Guan Yin Mountain. Standing at the 434‑metre peak and looking down over the whole island, you see an endless expanse of blue in the distance and lush verdant green close at hand.
Challenge your personal limits, marvel at the extraordinary peaks and rocks, the butterfly valley and the bird‑filled woods, and take in the panoramic view of the island — On foot: 4 hours, by bike: this section is not suitable for cycling
Countryside Trail The Countryside Trail is best enjoyed on foot or by bike. Both sides of the straight Chuen Chung Avenue are lined with warm and natural rural scenery.
Further out on both sides lie the original ecological villages of Xiachuan Island. Unlike the city, here you can experience the simple and honest local customs and traditions.
Wander through the original ecological villages, admire the white walls and green tiles, and savour the rural scenery — On foot: 2 hours, by bike: 0.5 hours
Xiachuan Island Transport Guide — Attention self‑drive friends! Set your navigation destination for Xiachuan Island as “Shan Tsui Port”.
As the passenger ferry only carries people, motor vehicles need to be parked in the car park at the pier.
