Taishan Xiachuan Island Qianfan Biwan Seaview Hotel Seaview Room (Buffet Breakfast + Seafood Dinner Set + Children's Playground + Free Beach + Beach Combing Tools Provided)

In every major city, everyone dreams of finding a hidden paradise, and on the nearest island to Guangdong — Xiachuandao (Lower Chuanshan Island) in Taishan, Jiangmen — there lies a charm you have never known. This is a "holiday paradise".

Among the four temptations of Guangdong's holiday islands — the "food temptation" and "outlying island temptation" — Xiachuandao, also known as the "Phuket of China", offers breathtaking sunset seascapes, where evening glow and city lights shine in harmony, and graceful silhouettes mirror the coconut palm‑fringed beach, with the sea transitioning through shades of blue from shallow to deep.

Xiachuandao is covered in coconut groves. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views and the sounds of the waves, go sea bathing, surfing, sailing, and fishing. Facing the vast ocean, you can let yourself go — layers of rolling waves greet your eyes, making you marvel at this sea that seems made for daydreaming. Here, you will also find the most beautiful sunrise over the sea.

The tree‑lined path from Da Shui Tang Bay to Wangfuzhou is an important leisure waterfront promenade, stretching about 3 kilometres along the coastline.

Passing through the beaches of Da Shui Tang Bay, Nan'ao Bay, and Wangfuzhou, you can listen to the waves and admire the sea, or wade through the surf and play in the water. Both sides of the road are lined with lush coconut trees, and almost everywhere you can enjoy healthy, pollution‑free coconut water!

The most captivating spot along the leisure trail is undoubtedly Wangfuzhou. Located on the southern side of Xiachuandao, it is embraced by spectacular peaks on three sides. With its tranquil bay and intoxicating coconut groves, it has earned the nickname "Pattaya of China".

Stroll along the rustling coconut palm paths, feel the sea breeze on your face, listen to the waves crashing against the rocks, and let go of all your stress

No summer caption can compare to being here, facing the sea right now — come and encounter the Hawaii of the East~

Explore Xiachuandao to the fullest — the island boasts endless coastal scenery and the charm of coconut‑laden sea breezes. Here, you can wade through the waves, play on the sand, watch the sunrise and sunset by the shore, and feast on fresh, lively seafood waiting for you

Once you arrive at the pier and step off the ferry onto the island, you'll need to take a shuttle bus to the scenic areas and hotels. The coastline is lined with coconut groves stretching over a thousand metres — strolling beneath the coconut palms with the sea breeze on your face is truly a unique experience.

There are four hiking trails to choose from: the Seaview Trail, the Countryside Trail, the Leisure Trail, and the Adventure Trail. Hiking or cycling across most of Xiachuandao, you can easily spend 2 days and 1 night exploring — along the coast, up the hills, through the fields — covering over 40 kilometres in total.

Each of these four trendy trails has its own unique character. Choose the one you like and take your time to wander and explore at your own pace.

Seaview Trail Following the gentle sea breeze and winding along the coastline, you can gaze at beautiful islands in the distance. Along the way, you'll see original fishing villages, Chuandong Pier fishing village, the pier, an ecological agriculture base, and sandy beaches.

At Niutang Bay, the rocks by the sea stand in various formations. Standing on the rocks, you can see the particularly surging waters — but do be careful for your safety.

Dawan is the best spot on the island to watch the sunrise. The beach is shaped like a crescent moon, and it truly looks romantic.

Not far from Niutang Bay lies Niutang Village, which exudes Republican‑era charm. With its white walls and dark tiled roofs, neatly arranged houses nestled against the hills and facing the sea, and curling chimney smoke, it feels like a beautiful hidden paradise

Admire the island's scenic beauty, watch the tides rise and fall, spot fishing boats dotting the sea, and soak in the pastoral landscapes. Hiking: 4.5 hours; Cycling: 1.5 hours Leisure Trail The tree‑lined path from Da Shui Tang Bay to Wangfuzhou is an important leisure waterfront promenade, about 3 kilometres long.

Passing through the beaches of Da Shui Tang Bay, Nan'ao Bay, and Wangfuzhou, you can listen to the waves and admire the sea, or wade through the surf and play in the water. It's perfect for family outings — you can also hike or cycle. It's a wonderful place to unwind.

The water sports here are incredibly diverse. You can rent a jet ski or a rubber dinghy and ride the waves, kicking up splashes of white foam.

You can also catch crabs, pick up seashells on the beach, build sandcastles, ride beach buggies, or play beach volleyball

You can also set off fireworks in designated areas, enjoy barbecues, bonfire parties and more

Here, heading out to sea to fish is also a way of life. At the Marine Pasture Station, you can fully experience the joy of fishing.

Squid rest at the bottom of the sea during the day, but at night they swim up to feed. That's when you can catch them by choosing waters that are clear and dotted with reefs.

Wander along the beautiful coastline and enjoy wading through the waves. Hiking: 1.5 hours; Cycling: 0.3 hours Adventure Trail Starting from the Wangfuzhou Scenic Area, with a series of steps leading upwards — that's the Adventure Trail. It sounds thrilling just thinking about it!

Following the mountain path through the forest, you'll climb up to Guanyin Mountain, where rolling green peaks unfold before your eyes, along with sweeping views of the bay below.

Perhaps the best viewpoint over Xiachuandao is from the summit of Guanyin Mountain. Standing at 434 metres above sea level, you can overlook the entire island — an endless expanse of blue in the distance, and lush, vibrant green right beside you.

Challenge your personal limits, marvel at the extraordinary peaks and rocks, explore the butterfly‑filled valleys and bird‑filled forests, and take in panoramic views of the island. Hiking: 4 hours; Cycling: This section is not suitable for cycling Countryside Trail The Countryside Trail is best explored on foot or by bike. On both sides of the straight Chuanzhong Avenue lie warm and natural pastoral landscapes.

Extending further out on both sides are the original ecological villages of Xiachuandao. Unlike the city, here you can experience the simple and genuine local culture and customs.

Wander through the original ecological villages, admire the white walls and green‑tiled roofs, and savour the pastoral scenery. Hiking: 2 hours; Cycling: 0.5 hours
