Basel Old Town Walking Tour


Departure:
Gather at meeting point. Optional departure times: 11:00, 14:30 (please attend the activity at the selected time upon booking). Look for the guide at the Tinguely Fountain next to the Basel Theatre; no refund for latecomers or no‑shows. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time.
Sights / Experience:
2‑hour guided tour exploring the history of Basel, including landmarks such as the Town Hall and Basel Minster, and experiencing the city culture at attractions like the Museum of Cultures and the Tinguely Fountain.
Return:
Return to starting point. Optional return times: 13:00, 16:30 (depending on the selected departure time and tour duration).
The itinerary may be adjusted according to traffic and weather conditions.

Due to the Tattoo Parade, this tour will be suspended from 14:30 on 20 July 2024.
(1) Infants and children must be counted in the number of passengers;
(2) Children aged 0‑5 are free of charge;
(3) Children aged 0‑16 must be accompanied by a paying adult;
(4) Children aged 17 and above are charged the same rate as adults;
(5) Group size: 1‑50 persons.
The tour involves a lot of walking and climbing stairs. Please ensure you have sufficient physical fitness to participate.
