The Special Tours Iceland app supports five languages (English, German, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese) and is compatible with Android and Apple devices. All customers can download the app during the tour to access text and audio information. The app aims to provide you with an audio‑guided wildlife adventure experience as much as possible.
Weather and sea conditions during the winter months can be unpredictable. Our captains will make navigation decisions based on years of experience, always keeping passenger safety and comfort in mind.
Please note that we cannot guarantee sightings of wildlife. If you do not see anything during the tour, you will receive a complimentary ticket to try again.
During the winter months, we occasionally sail from a harbour south of Reykjavík to seek better sea conditions; in such cases, we will arrange return transportation to Reykjavík for each passenger. Due to the extra driving required in these circumstances, the tour may be slightly longer.
