【Limited Period PLAN4】Hirosaki Castle Park Cherry Blossoms & Oirase Gorge Special Route! The Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from 17 April 2026 to 5 May 2026! During the blooming season, step into Hirosaki Castle in Aomori, surrounded by a sea of pink flowers, and create your own unforgettable cherry blossom memories!

PLAN2 – Takayama Inari Shrine & Tsurunomai Bridge & Cape Tappi Coastline Route Important Notice Due to winter road closures, the itinerary will be adjusted as follows. Please take note. (Scheduled from around mid‑November to mid‑April) 9:00 Depart from Aomori Station

10:20‑11:20 Takayama Inari Shrine 12:00‑13:30 Namioka Apple Hill (or other rest stops depending on the day) 14:00‑14:30 Tsurunomai Bridge (due to ongoing construction, the bridge is inaccessible; guests will be taken to a distant photo spot) 15:30‑16:30 Hirosaki Park (Winter Illumination period: 1/12 to 28/2)

Hirosaki Castle Cherry Blossoms (Limited Period PLAN4) Every spring, Hirosaki Castle in Aomori Prefecture hosts one of Japan's most spectacular cherry blossom events – the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival. The park features about 2,600 cherry trees, mainly Somei Yoshino variety. When in full bloom, the entire park is enveloped in a soft pink sea of blossoms, creating a dreamlike scenery.

Oirase Gorge Choshi Waterfall (Plan 1) Known as one of Japan's most beautiful streams, the Oirase Gorge stretches about 14 km. Dense forests line the stream, with clear waters winding through unique rocks and waterfalls, offering captivating scenery in every season.

Takayama Inari Shrine Torii Gates (Plan 2) Located in Tsugaru City, Takayama Inari Shrine is one of Aomori's most iconic Inari shrines. Rows of vermilion torii gates line the hillside, creating a majestic and mysterious sight. Each season offers its own charm: lush greenery in spring and summer, vibrant autumn leaves, and serene snow‑covered scenery in winter, making it a popular spot for photography and experiencing traditional Japanese shrine culture.

Tsurunomai Bridge (Plan 2) Spanning across Tsugaru Fujimi Lake, Tsurunomai Bridge is one of Japan's longest wooden three‑arch bridges. Its elegant curve resembles a crane in flight from a distance. On clear days, the reflection of Mount Iwaki on the lake adds to the scenery, making it a highly iconic photographic spot in Aomori in all seasons.

Cape Tappi (Plan 2) Located at the northern tip of the Tsugaru Peninsula, Cape Tappi is a famous spot for overlooking the Tsugaru Strait. With strong sea winds and vast ocean views, you can even see the mountains of Hokkaido in the distance. Standing at the cape, the endless horizon of sea and sky unfolds before you, making it a popular scenic spot to experience Aomori's natural charm and the northernmost feel of Japan.

Hirosaki Park "Winter Cherry Blossom Light‑up" (Plan 2 – Winter Alternative Attraction) Light‑up period: Early December annually to around the end of February the following year.

Kabushima Shrine on the Island (Plan 3) Located on a small island off the coast of Hachinohe City, Kabushima Shrine is dedicated to Benzaiten. In spring and summer, large numbers of black‑tailed gulls inhabit and breed on the island, making it one of Japan's famous seabird viewing spots. From the shrine's elevated location, you can overlook the vast Pacific Ocean, and its unique blend of nature and faith attracts many visitors.

Ashimozaki Observation Deck (Plan 3) Located along the Hachinohe coastline, the Ashimozaki Observation Deck offers a panoramic view of the magnificent Pacific Ocean and rugged coastline, making it an excellent spot to overlook the Tanesashi Coast landscape.

Tanesashi Coast (Plan 3) Located in Hachinohe City, the Tanesashi Coast is a key landscape within the Sanriku Fukko National Park. It features a unique combination of natural grasslands, rugged rocky shores, and expansive ocean views. Strolling along the coastal paths, you can feel the Pacific breeze and appreciate the beauty of nature up close, making it one of Aomori's most representative coastal scenic areas.

Hirosaki Castle Cherry Blossom Festival / Held annually around mid‑April (Limited Period PLAN4) The moat of Hirosaki Castle is a major highlight of Hirosaki Park. The reflection of the water and the full‑bloom cherry trees create a picturesque scene. Under the glow of the cherry blossoms, the moat's scenery becomes even more serene and enchanting. During the festival, the park is also filled with various food stalls, and the cherry blossoms are illuminated at night, creating a romantic atmosphere for visitors to enjoy memorable spring moments amidst historic castle and sakura beauty!

Cherry Blossoms on Hirosaki Moat (Limited Period PLAN4) As petals fall onto the water, they layer upon layer, covering the canal like a pink carpet, creating the famous "sakura flower raft" phenomenon. This unique sight is considered one of the most iconic views of the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, attracting many visitors and photography enthusiasts to enjoy and capture.

Heart‑Shaped Cherry Blossom Path (Limited Period PLAN4) Within Hirosaki Park, a cherry blossom spot that gained fame for its heart shape when viewed from above is known as the "Heart‑Shaped Cherry Blossom Path." Every spring, delicate pink cherry blossoms bloom between the moat and pathways, forming a romantic heart shape from an aerial perspective. This spot has become a must‑visit for travellers and photography enthusiasts alike, adding a unique romantic touch to the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival!
