Highlights of the Itinerary

Direct to Osaka, hassle‑free transport with no need for self‑planning

Ride the Tango Seaside Train to experience the iconic "Spirited Away"‑style scenery

Visit Amanohashidate to unlock the unique perspective of one of the "Three Great Views of Japan"

Stroll through the Ine no Funaya and encounter the poetic charm of a thousand‑year‑old fishing village

Includes special experience: take a sightseeing boat to feed seagulls and enjoy the panoramic view

The scenic train ride from Nishi‑Maizuru Station to Amanohashidate is a very popular sightseeing journey

image.png

The ordinary train we take from Nishi‑Maizuru Station to Amanohashidate Station has a travel time of approximately 44 minutes; for example, departing at 9:44 from Nishi‑Maizuru Station, you can arrive at Amanohashidate Station at 10:28.

When the train passes along the Nagu Coast, it will slow down and make an announcement to allow passengers to fully enjoy the coastal scenery.

image.png

The contrast between the train and the sea is very dreamlike, featuring the iconic "Spirited Away"‑style seaside train scenery, making it a popular photo spot.

Amanohashidate View Land: from the "Crotch Viewing Platform" at Hiryukan, looking at Amanohashidate upside down, the pine trees on the sandbar resemble dragon scales, the white sand looks like a dragon's back, making Amanohashidate appear like a flying dragon ascending to heaven, hence its name. This unique viewing angle is one of the iconic perspectives of Amanohashidate.

image.png

After snowfall in winter, the white sandbar of Amanohashidate is lightly covered with snow, paired with the evergreen black pines along the shore, creating an absolutely stunning scene.

image.png

Amanohashidate in Miyazu Bay, the Sea of Japan, is one of the special scenic spots collectively known as the "Three Great Views of Japan," along with Matsushima in Mutsu and Itsukushima in Aki.

image.png

Under the autumn sun at Amanohashidate, pine shadows cast over the white sand, while the crimson maple leaves along the shore and the clear, rippling waters compose a tranquil poem of mountains and sea.

image.png

You can choose to take the cable car to enjoy the panoramic view

image.png

Amanohashidate View Land offers various amusement facilities such as the sky bicycle, providing plenty of fun while sightseeing

image.png

Chion‑ji Temple enshrines Monju Bosatsu (Kiri Monju), who governs wisdom, making it a place to pray for academic success

image.png

The main gate of Chion‑ji Temple is the largest main gate in the Tango region

image.png

The fan‑shaped fortune slips; if you hang the fan upside down, the fan surface widens from narrow to broad, symbolising things gradually improving.

image.png

Both sides of the Amanohashidate sandbar feature white sandy beaches with fine, soft sand. Strolling through the pine forest at Amanohashidate and admiring the different species and shapes of pine trees is also a delight.

【Ine Town】Rated by Japanese people as one of the 18 most beautiful villages in Japan

image.png

The Ine no Funaya are wooden buildings built right by the water, with the first floor serving as a boathouse and the second floor used as living space. This design embodies the concept of coexisting harmoniously with nature.

image.png

Experience taking the Ine Bay sightseeing boat

image.png

Enjoy the beauty of the bay

When feeding seagulls on the sightseeing boat, watch out for hawks in the area to avoid being pecked by them.
