Feixia Scenic Area, also known as Feilai Gorge Scenic Area, is located 23 kilometres east of Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, 60 kilometres south of Guangzhou, covering an area of 52 square kilometres. The scenic area integrates the religious culture of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, as well as blessed land culture, culture of exiled officials, and numerous intangible cultural heritages such as cliffstone carvings.

Feixia Scenic Area consists of three parts: Feixia Cave, Cangxia Cave and Jinxia Zen Temple. It was rated as a national 3A‑level scenic spot in 2021, and is also a national first‑class ecological forest protection area, a national first‑class water source protection area, one of the eight famous mountains in Guangdong, a provincial‑level scenic area and tourist resort, and the 19th blessed land of Taoism.

The main features of Feixia Scenic Area are summarised as "one ancient, two majestic, three grand, four peculiar, and five serene." Its forest coverage rate reaches 98%, making it a natural oxygen bar. The scenic area boasts deep forests and tranquil waters, with magnificent mountains and rivers. Along the river stretch seventy‑two peaks on both banks, with precipitous and rugged peaks and winding, rushing waters, creating a natural beauty akin to "a river flows far to the sea, and both banks rise in majesty."
