Download the Eurail Rail Planner App to use the mobile pass;
By purchasing a Eurail Global Pass, you agree to the Terms & Conditions;
The e‑voucher will be sent to your email immediately upon order confirmation.
(1) Download the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner app and activate your mobile pass yourself within 11 months from the purchase date;
(2) Step 1: Enter your last name and the pass number sent to you to add the pass;
(3) Step 2: Create a new trip or select an existing trip in the App, and link the trip to the pass;
(4) Step 3: Enter your passport/ID card number and select the first travel date to activate the pass. Please note that if the pass is not activated, you cannot board trains, and the pass must be activated online;
(5) Please note that seat reservations can be made without activating the pass;
(6) Set your phone calendar to "Gregorian Calendar" to activate the pass using the Rail Planner App;
(1) How to deactivate a Eurail European Rail Mobile Pass: The pass can be deactivated before the selected start date (00:00 CET on that day). Use the Rail Planner App, go to "My Pass", tap the three dots on the top right, then tap "Deactivate Pass" (the pass can be reactivated later);
(2) How to travel around Europe with a Eurail European Rail Mobile Pass: Once your Eurail mobile pass is activated, just follow these simple steps to start your journey;
(3) Step 1: Search train schedules and plan your trip using the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App;
(4) Step 2: Save your favourite trips;
(5) Step 3: When you are ready to depart, add the trip to your pass;
(6) Step 4: When asked to show your ticket, go to "My Pass" and tap "Show ticket" to display your mobile pass. Please note that each travel day of the pass has a different ticket, and each ticket shows all trips added for that travel day;
(7) For flexible passes: If a trip date is not a travel day, a travel day must be used. Go to "My Trip" and "My Pass" to check remaining travel days and an overview of all travel days;
(8) Group travel: If you are travelling in a group and have multiple passes on your phone, please take note of the following;
(9) Each pass must have a separate trip created in the App;
(10) If you have already created a trip, you can duplicate an existing trip and link the copy to another pass. Name each trip differently to manage all trips;
(11) When requested, each member using a pass must show their ticket. Go to "My Pass", select the other pass, and tap "Show ticket";
(1) Seat reservations are not required for most trains in Germany, but are mandatory for ICE high‑speed trains travelling to/from Brussels or Liège, TGV (French high‑speed trains), and IC buses;
(2) Make reservations at the Eurail Official Website or via the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App. You will need to hold a pass and log in to your account to see actual seat prices and availability;
(3) Seat reservation services are also available at local train stations or on the official website of train operators;
(4) Seat reservations can be made without activating the pass;

Please note that partially used or activated passes are non-refundable.
Inactive general passes can be cancelled free of charge within 1 year from the date of purchase.
To request a refund, please deactivate the pass. The pass can be deactivated before the selected start date (00:00 CET on that day). Use the Rail Planner App, go to “My Pass”, tap the three dots in the top right corner, then select “Deactivate Pass” (the pass can be reactivated later).
Free cancellation is available before the voucher is redeemed.
