Due to plant exhibitions and cleaning, some areas may be slippery. Please do not run inside the park.
Birds (especially parrots) like shiny objects. Please be careful not to damage earrings and other accessories
Birds on trees or shoulders may defecate. Please use the tissue paper provided in the bird feeding area.
There are no fences around the pond, allowing visitors to get up close to the birds in the park. Visitors with children should keep an eye on them.
Do not chase or catch the birds.
After interacting with the birds, please wash your hands with soap and water.
Do not bring bird feed into the park.
Pets are not allowed inside, except for guide dogs with valid identification
Photography is allowed on site, but commercial filming and live streaming of copyrighted programmes are prohibited

Highlights of the Trip
“Kakegawa Kachōen” is a theme park in Shizuoka Prefecture where you can enjoy “interacting with flowers and birds”.
The vast park features a large greenhouse, a lily pond, a pond and a farm. Enjoy the beautiful flowers and play with rare birds that can only be seen here!
Most of the birds at Kakegawa Kachōen are not kept in cages or enclosures, so you can touch them and play with them directly. Don’t be afraid, give it a try!
The bird show is a fun and thrilling experience where the birds fly low and show off their various skills close to the visitors.
The air‑conditioned glass greenhouse is cool in summer and warm in winter, and its all‑weather design ensures safety even on rainy days.
The entire park is barrier‑free, so people with disabilities, wheelchair users and those with pushchairs can fully enjoy the park.
Inside the glasshouse, you can play with the birds and enjoy the beautiful flowers all year round, no matter the weather!
