Aizu‑Wakamatsu Castle, also known as Tsuruga Castle, is a famous historic castle and site in Japan. Marked by its unique red‑tiled donjon, with white walls and red tiles, it exudes a solemn grandeur.
Inside the castle, you can find the ancient charm of the tea ceremony and the legendary tales of the Byakkotai (White Tiger Force). From the top, you can overlook the castle town and the scenic views of Mount Bandai. Spring cherry blossoms, autumn maples, and winter snow each offer their own scenery, with the castle appearing even more serene and elegant under the night sky.
