KawaZoo is an experiential frog museum located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is the largest frog museum in Japan and opened on 1 August 2018. Its sister facility, izoo Reptile Specialist Zoo, is located in the southern part of the same town. KawaZoo exhibits the largest number of frogs in Japan, from rare frogs around the world to common ones, and visitors can actually touch them. Some frogs are displayed and raised outdoors, allowing visitors to observe them in their natural habitat and showcasing their natural colours all year round. 90% of the facility is indoor, so you can visit even on rainy days. In addition, once you enter the museum, you can re‑enter multiple times on the same day

Compared to other similar species, the strawberry poison dart frog has a slender body and its brightly coloured skin is also bilaterally symmetrical
