Starting in November, the Dewar's distillery will be closed for the winter season. During this period, you will visit the Glenturret Distillery instead;
For safety reasons, visitors are not allowed to wear open‑toed shoes. Please wear appropriate footwear, otherwise you will not be able to participate in the Dewar's tour;
Access to the distillery production area may be restricted;
Some distilleries offer a guided tasting instead of a tour;
The distillery may be substituted;
Waterproof clothing / walking shoes;
The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users;
Luggage allowance: 1 piece of standard luggage;

Departing from Edinburgh, cross the Queensferry Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife. As you travel north, the scenery transforms from rolling lowland farmlands to forested hills and mountains near the Highland Boundary Fault. Arrive in Dunkeld, a charming cathedral town on the River Tay, where you can visit the impressive cathedral or take a stroll through the picturesque village.

A short drive brings you to the Hermitage, where you can enjoy scenic woodland walks and admire the stunning Black Linn Falls. Continue through the Tay Valley to the Victorian town of Pitlochry, where you can shop or have lunch. Afterwards, drive through the Highlands of Perthshire, stopping at Queen's View for spectacular vistas of Loch Tummel and Schiehallion. Finally, visit the Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery before returning to Edinburgh.
