Bid farewell to the scorching heat of the day — Taipei truly comes alive at night! Set off from Taipei 101 MRT Station in the early evening for a relaxing and enjoyable nighttime exploration.
The first stop is Taipei 101, an iconic landmark of the city. If the weather is good, we recommend heading up to the observatory to take in the stunning city nightscape with countless twinkling lights. The shimmering glow, like a cascade of stars, drapes the city in a romantic veil.
Next, we visit Chiang Kai‑shek Memorial Hall. In the evening, the memorial hall is far less crowded than during the day, with the white walls and blue roof looking especially solemn under the lights. Stroll through the spacious plaza and quietly experience Taipei's unique sense of stability and calm.
After that, we head to Longshan Temple, one of Taipei's most iconic religious centres with a history spanning over a century. At night, with flickering lantern light and curling incense smoke, the atmosphere is serene and profound. Amid the glow of a single lamp and the fragrance of a stick of incense, you can feel the restrained yet sincere power of faith in Taiwan.
The final stop is Ningxia Night Market, a favourite food gathering place among locals. From crispy taro balls and piping hot oyster omelettes to traditional drinks and desserts, the aromas are irresistible and the joy is endless.
In just a few hours, you can witness Taipei's most enchanting side — a city that continues to shine with romance and warmth even after dark.

Chiang Kai‑shek Memorial Hall is a national landmark built in memory of former President Chiang Kai‑shek. At night, the memorial hall appears even more majestic and grand under the illumination of lights — an excellent place to experience Taipei's history and architectural grandeur.

Longshan Temple is one of Taipei's most historic and thriving temples, with a rich tradition of incense offerings lasting over a century. Under the glow of lanterns at night, the temple appears even more exquisite and ornate. Here, you can admire the fine temple craftsmanship and truly experience the local culture of devout prayer.

Taipei 101 is Taipei's most famous landmark and was once the tallest building in the world. Head up to the 89th‑floor observatory for a panoramic view of the city from above; at this time of day, you may even get to see the sunset and the city lights start to glow — a million‑dollar night view.

Ningxia Night Market is a beloved food paradise of "old Taipei" deeply cherished by locals. It brings together many Michelin‑recommended classic Taiwanese snacks, such as oyster omelettes, taro balls, and Liu Yu Zai's egg yolk taro cakes — the perfect final stop for an authentic culinary experience.
