Located in Zhuangwei Township, Yilan County, Niutousi Family Farm is one of the few parent‑child experience parks in Taiwan themed around the culture of working oxen, making it an excellent choice for family trips and nature education. Tickets are priced at NT$150 for full admission and NT$75 for half admission, with the full ticket offering a NT$50 consumption offset within the park, offering great value for money.
The biggest highlight of the park is the up‑close interaction with water buffaloes and yellow cattle, where children can personally feed grass, brush their coats, and help bathe the oxen, experiencing the deep bond between working oxen and humans in an agricultural society. There are also plenty of DIY activities such as ploughing experiences, cow dung painting, moo‑moo potted plants, and handmade eco‑bottles, each allowing children to learn about agricultural culture through play.
The park offers free facilities including traditional toys, bubble blowing, and fishing. When tired, visitors can enjoy refreshing tofu pudding and shaved ice. The farm provides a complimentary car park; simply navigate to "Niutousi Experience Farm" by car, and public transport is also convenient. Whether for family outings or school field trips, you can escape the hustle and bustle here, enjoy quality time close to nature and animals, and create unforgettable parent‑child memories!
