Bear Diving - Xiao Liuqiu Shore Dive Tourism (Diving License Required)

Summer (Mar‑Oct): Shore dive experience starts at 19:00. The waters around Xiao Liuqiu have an average depth of 15‑20 metres and are rich in seagrass, a favourite food of sea turtles. The shore area is the best spot for observing sea turtles. Entering the water from the shore is safe and easy, allowing you to gradually refresh your diving skills and explore the underwater scenery.

Winter (Nov‑Feb): Diving experience available at two time slots: 17:00 and 19:00.

There is no age restriction for this activity. A valid diving licence is required (any level or type). Please bring your physical diving licence or an electronic copy for verification.

After scuba diving, it is not recommended to fly within 24 hours. Consumption of alcohol or use of recreational drugs is prohibited within 24 hours before the activity. If found to be under the influence, participation will be refused without refund.

If weather conditions prevent the instructor from allowing the dive, a free reschedule or full refund is available. Failure to see sea turtles due to poor weather is a natural factor and no refund will be given.

Once the booking is confirmed, cancellations or no‑shows due to personal reasons will be treated as forfeiting participation.

If you wish to add rental of heavy or light gear, please select it when ordering. The dive centre provides prescription masks ranging from 300 to 800 degrees.

According to Taiwanese law, sea turtles are protected species. Touching them during the experience is prohibited; violators will be penalised by law.

During the dive, you must follow the instructor's guidance and are not allowed to leave the group. Dive site locations may vary and will be determined by the instructor based on the day's weather, sea conditions, and participants' skill levels.

Insurance information must be filled in on the day of the activity, including name, date of birth, ID number or passport number.

The dive centre provides free lockers. The shower area is equipped with body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, and towels. A drinking water dispenser is available on site; please bring your own container and reusable tableware.

In support of marine conservation, please do not apply any cosmetics or sunscreen before the experience.

Participants must arrange their own transport to the dive site. People with reduced mobility or those suffering from hypertension, epilepsy, or other medical conditions are not recommended to join.

The shoreline of Xiao Liuqiu is mostly rocky terrain. There is a risk of falling or injury when walking to and from the shore. Those who are concerned should not register.

On the day of the activity, you must present proof of vaccination or a negative rapid antigen test result from within the previous three days. Those who have recovered from COVID‑19 must first consult a doctor and provide medical documentation; failure to do so will result in refusal of participation without refund.

All instructors and staff of the supplier have been vaccinated with the AZ vaccine. The certificate is pinned at the top of the Facebook fan page for your reference.

Cancellations due to force majeure or extreme weather leading to activity cancellation are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days before the activity start date: 0% fee. Within 6 days: 10% fee. Within 4 days: 50% fee. Within 2 days: 100% fee.

As insurance arrangements are required after booking, changes to participant details are not permitted.

The voucher is valid only for the specified date and time.

The meeting point is Bear Diving (Address: No. 87, Xiangpu Road, Shangfu Village, Liuqiu Township, Pingtung County). Participants must arrange their own transport and arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early.
