Monday to Sunday: 08:00‑16:00; excluding Christmas Day (25 Dec)
(1) Night Safari: Advance booking is required; minimum age 5, at least 4 persons per booking; led by experienced wildlife keepers, explore the park residents in small groups for 2 hours with spotlight illumination;
(2) YOUR Wildlife Habitat Tour: Advance booking is required; at least 2 persons per booking; customised private tour led by passionate keepers, including intimate dining in the rainforest habitat, behind‑the‑scenes tour, commemorative photo, and wildlife interaction;
(3) Breakfast with the Birds: Advance booking is required; bookable daily from 08:00‑09:00; immerse in the wetland habitat, restaurant offers a hearty breakfast;
(4) Swim with the Saltwater Crocodiles: Advance booking is required; minimum age 12, maximum 4 persons per session; experience being just centimetres away from saltwater crocodiles in the Crocodile Arena, witnessing the powerful jaw snap;
(5) Activities are wheelchair accessible;
Car: Wildlife Habitat is located 50 minutes north on the Great Barrier Reef Drive

The award‑winning Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat offers visitors the opportunity to experience the wild ecology of wetlands, rainforests, savannahs, woodlands and nocturnal animals in an open and interactive environment. Stroll along the boardwalks to explore the rainforest habitat from the forest floor to the canopy, and admire the natural environment that is home to wildlife such as the southern cassowary. In the savannah habitat, you will have the opportunity to hand‑feed kangaroos and wallabies, and enjoy the emus and Lumholtz's tree‑kangaroos.
