One adult with a rail pass may bring up to two children aged 1 to 5 free of charge, provided the children do not occupy a seat. From the third child onwards, each child must purchase a child rail pass.

The JR Pass is only applicable to non‑Japanese passport holders with a "Temporary Visitor" visa. Non‑Japanese passport holders with permanent residency in Japan are not eligible.

Upon entry, please obtain a "Temporary Visitor" stamp/sticker to legally use the JR Pass. Using automated gates will prevent obtaining the above stamp/sticker.

After order confirmation, the e‑voucher will be sent to your email immediately.

Please proceed to the green ticket vending machine, scan the QR code from the e‑voucher and your non‑Japanese passport to collect the physical ticket.

※If the machine malfunctions or your passport does not have an IC chip, please go to the JR West ticket office to exchange for the physical ticket.

Seats can be reserved at the ticket office with the assistance of station staff.

Reservations can only be made after exchanging the exchange voucher for the physical pass.

The SL Yamaguchi train requires an additional fee.

(1) Staff can provide barrier‑free assistance services;

(2) Know before you exchange for JR‑West Rail Pass reserved seat tickets;

(3) Different pass types can be exchanged for different numbers of reserved seat tickets. Please check the product page for details;

(4) Please check each product page for train schedules with bookable seats;

(5) Reserved seats for the pass must be exchanged separately (please make reservations at the green machine or counter);

(6) When reserved seat tickets are sold out or not exchanged in advance, this pass can be used directly for non‑reserved seats;

(7) Reserved seat tickets can be exchanged unlimited times, but from the seventh exchange onwards, reservations must be made manually at the green counter, as the machine cannot process them directly;
