Singapore Marine Ecology Museum is located in the heart of Resorts World Sentosa. As a world‑leading marine science and conservation institution, it grandly opened on 23 July 2025. This marine sanctuary, integrating technology, education and art, is driven by the mission of "Inspiring Awareness, Igniting Action", presenting the magnificence and fragility of marine ecosystems through 22 multi‑sensory ecological exhibition zones.

The museum's core highlights include the world's largest single aquarium viewing window, housing 18 million litres of seawater, where deep‑sea shark schools and giant marine creatures glide through, delivering a breathtaking visual impact. Immersive exhibition zones such as the "Coral Garden" recreate the symbiotic wonder of clownfish and corals, while the "Whale Fall" area interprets the cycle of life and ecological bounty through simulated whale life cycles. Interactive experiences run throughout: the touch pool allows close encounters with biological specimens, 3D projections and digital interactive walls bring scientific knowledge to life, and a dedicated children's zone features bounce nets and educational games, blending fun with learning.

Scientific research and conservation are the driving forces at the core of the museum. The museum collaborates with institutions such as James Cook University and the National University of Singapore to conduct research on endangered species, successfully achieving the artificial breeding of the bowmouth guitarfish, setting a milestone for species conservation. The on‑site "Research and Learning Centre" has received the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore's "Green Building Platinum Zero Energy" certification, adopting solar power and intelligent design in its commitment to environmental sustainability.

During the opening period, the museum presents the "Chain of Symbiosis" photography exhibition, co‑created by international photographers Toh Xing Jie and Michael Aw, interpreting the close interconnectedness of marine life through the language of the lens. As a partner of Singapore's 60th National Day celebrations, the museum joined the parade with a themed float, weaving marine conservation ideals into the nation's festivities.
The museum holds prestigious AZA, WAZA and SEAZA accreditations, and hosts over 200 science outreach activities annually, covering lectures, workshops and citizen science programmes, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of ocean guardians. Its design balances education and sustainability, conveying the profound theme of "human‑ocean symbiosis" from architecture to exhibitions.

Whether for family learning journeys, scientific exploration or eco‑tourism, the Singapore Marine Ecology Museum is an ideal destination. Here, every exploration is not just a visual feast, but also a commitment to marine conservation — letting science inspire action and turning reverence into stewardship. We look forward to witnessing the future of the ocean together with you.
