Attraction Highlights

The Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor is located between Jiulong and Huanghua (formerly known as Mingjing and Yanbei, merged and renamed Huanghua) towns in the southwest of Yingde City, Qingyuan, Guangdong Province. It features over a thousand limestone peaks of various shapes stretching continuously, with rivers and streams of all sizes winding through them. The peaks are often shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, with lush greenery and a pleasant climate. The Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor is a magnificent display of the uniqueness, beauty, and elegance of Ying stone, blending seamlessly with simple villages and rustic folk customs, exuding a rich pastoral atmosphere.

When visiting the Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor, you must explore two major peak forests, discover two karst caves, and seek out two historical sites.

The two major peak forests: one is the "Thousand Soldiers Peak Forest," named for its peaks leaning eastward like a battle formation ready to charge. The other is the "Gongzheng Xishu Peak Forest," distinguished by its varied peak shapes and streams winding through them. A thousand peak forests mean a thousand scenes, allowing visitors to fully unleash their imagination and creativity.

The two karst caves: the first is "Chuantian Cave," a cave through which a stream flows. There are two openings at the top of the cave, allowing light to filter in. The second is "Yangyan Cave," known as the "largest cave in northern Guangdong." The stalactites inside are crystal‑clear and sparkling, with excellent texture.

The two historical sites: one is the Peng Family Ancestral Hall, first built in the mid‑Qing Dynasty. The building rises step by step along the mountain terrain, strategically located, and was constructed as a defensive fortress by the local Peng clan to resist bandit disturbances. The other is the "Little Zhaozhou Bridge," made of piled stones without piers, spanning the river in a graceful arched form, exquisitely light and agile.

Besides the above attractions, the corridor also features other spots worth visiting, such as Rongqiang Little Guilin, Longjiao Mountain, Wangchao Stone Hill, Mingjing Reflections, Diaoxiang Cave and Shun Cave, Yingke Pine, Yongfeng Ancient Temple, and Feima Temple Ruins.

The Yingxi Peak Forest Nine Heavens Scenic Area is located at Yankou Village, Huanghua Town, in the essence section of the Yingxi Peak Forest Ten‑Mile Gallery. It is a newly upgraded premium version of the core scenic area series, featuring the Hundred‑Million‑Year Ice Age River, a ten‑thousand‑acre forest oxygen bar, a thousand exotic karst caves, a hundred bizarre stone forests, the Eighteen Arhats, the Nine‑Fingered Divine Turtle, a paradise away from the world, and a fairyland on earth... It combines the best of Qingyuan's "rafting, underground rivers, and karst caves" experiences. The Nine Heavens Observation Plank Road, themed on Taoist culture, stretches over 1,500 metres, filled with bizarre, colourful, lifelike, and magical "Ying stone peak forest clusters" and "stalactite forest clusters." A natural stream flows through the cave, which is adorned with uniquely shaped Ying stones and stalactites. The tour themes are rich and varied: stepping into the forest oxygen bar is refreshing, and walking along the secluded mountain paths is tranquil and otherworldly, making you feel completely immersed in an isolated "paradise." The observation plank road passes through the cave, with pleasant air rushing towards you, revealing yet another breathtaking "fairyland." Walking into Nine Heavens, you drift through a hundred‑million‑year Ice Age era like poetry; touring Nine Heavens, you experience nature's master craftsmanship like a painting. The stalactites are wonderfully bizarre, stone jellyfish float beside you; the Queen's Head is naturally formed, and snow lotus waterfalls greet your eyes. The Nine‑Fingered Divine Turtle offers you birthday blessings, and the Eighteen Arhats pray for you. Meteorites from beyond the sky gather spiritual energy, and deities from all directions convene. The tinkling spring "symphony" accompanies you, "Climbing the layered stone moss to higher ground, the Nine Heavens realm enters your dreams." The "Beautiful Nine Heavens" is perfectly natural, with an ideal visit duration. "Endless and boundless, nature crafts the Nine Heavens!" Three steps change the scenery, nine steps reach a new heaven; the Nine Heavens Palace is a true realm of immortals! "Nine Heavens" brings you a poetic and picturesque "paradise," and "Nine Heavens" brings you a dreamlike "fairyland"! "Beautiful Nine Heavens" welcomes your arrival and visit, and "Mysterious Nine Heavens" brings you good luck and happiness!
