Rafting Safety Guidelines
(1) Patients with mental illness, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy or other conditions, intoxicated persons, pregnant women, children under 1.2 metres (inclusive) and seniors aged 60 or above are not allowed to participate in rafting activities. [Children between 1.2 (exclusive) and 1.3 (inclusive) metres may only participate in Warrior Rafting.];
(2) Rafting is a water activity where participants will get completely wet. Before rafting, please store valuables (such as car keys, mobile phones, cameras, watches, necklaces, bracelets, glasses, etc.) in lockers to avoid loss or water damage, and keep the locker key safe.;
(3) During rafting, please wear the safety helmet and life jacket properly, pay attention to waterway guide signs, be aware of the rafting instructions before boarding, and follow the arrangements of the staff.;
(4) Before entering the slide, please position the paddle correctly, keep both legs straight, hold the safety rope tightly with both hands and sit firmly. It is strictly forbidden to let go of the rope or stand up for a safer and more thrilling experience.;
(5) During rafting, do not remove the safety helmet, life jacket or shoes. Do not hand rafting equipment to others or discard it at will. It is prohibited to leave the raft to play or go to dangerous areas alone to avoid accidents.;
(6) During rafting, if injuries to yourself or others are caused by improper operation (such as not holding the safety rope when entering the slide, sitting on the edge of the raft, pulling other rafts, standing up in rapids or other dangerous actions) or intentionally, you shall bear the consequences yourself.;
(7) To ensure the safety of yourself and others, it is strictly prohibited to bring breakable glass containers or flammable and explosive items into the waterway.;
(8) Each raft can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and may carry one child under 1.5 metres. Children under 1.3 metres cannot participate in rafting. Specific arrangements are subject to coordination by on‑site staff.;
(1) The package is sold as a whole product and its components cannot be used separately or partially refunded. Please pay attention to the opening hours and visiting guidelines of each attraction to ensure all activities are completed within the specified time;
(2) Visitors must experience all activities in the package. Giving up any activity midway will be deemed as voluntarily waiving the entitlement and no compensation will be provided;
(3) Validity: The package ticket is valid for use within 48 hours and will be void after expiration.;
(4) Upon successful purchase of the ticket, visitors are deemed to have fully understood and agreed to all terms of this package.;
(1) Bus Route: Take bus [No. 260] and get off at "Huangteng Gorge Eco‑Tourism Zone" station.;
(2) Self‑driving Route:
(1) Guangzhou ‑ Guangqing Expressway [Qingyuan City Exit] ‑ Turn left onto Qingyuan Avenue after exiting the highway ‑ Go straight through the traffic lights towards Fengcheng Bridge direction ‑ After crossing Fengcheng Bridge, turn right at the third traffic light and go straight for 3.8 km ‑ Arrive at the scenic area;
(2) Guangzhou ‑ Guangqing Expressway [Yinzhan Exit] ‑ Follow National Highway 107 straight to the city ‑ After crossing Beijiang Bridge, turn right at the first traffic light and go straight for 4.8 km ‑ Arrive at the scenic area;
(3) Guangzhou ‑ Airport Expressway ‑ Leguang Expressway ‑ Shanzhan Expressway [Huangteng Gorge Exit];

Regarding the refund policy for Huangteng Gorge Scenic Area【Package Ticket】:
1. For cancellations not caused by the scenic area (personal reasons of visitors) or force majeure, only full-order refunds are supported; partial refunds for specific items are not available. (Force majeure includes typhoons, heavy rain, etc., subject to the official notice of the scenic area);
2. If visitors insist on refunding only part of the items, an additional handling fee of 30% of the total package ticket price will be charged (the 30% handling fee covers the platform's order splitting costs, manual review, and ticket loss);
3. Package tickets are valid only on the day of use and become void after expiry.
Attraction Highlights
Huangteng Gorge Eco‑Tourism Area is one of the first national AAAA rafting scenic spots in China. With abundant high‑quality water sources, majestic and precipitous canyons, and winding river channels, it is hailed as "China's thrilling, exciting and fun rafting destination", and enjoys the reputation of "the pinnacle of rafting" in the industry.

The rafting water quality meets the national second‑class drinking water standard. The 8‑kilometre‑long Huangteng Gorge primitive canyon integrates waterfalls, deep pools and other natural features, with cliffs facing each other, towering peaks, numerous rapids and rushing silver waterfalls, captivating visitors with its thrilling excitement and pristine eco‑rafting experience.
In 2005, it was designated as the main venue for the "National Natural Waterway Rafting Competition". In 2006, it hosted the main venue of the "Qingyuan Huangteng Gorge Cup" International Rafting Competition.

The scenic area is only 3.8 kilometres from downtown Qingyuan, with convenient transportation. Visitors can reach the scenic area directly after getting off at the Huangteng Gorge expressway exit, making it easy for tourists to arrive.

The scenic area offers a rich variety of tourism attractions, including canyon rafting, alpine coasters, sightseeing cable cars, sightseeing plank roads, the Tianmen Glass Cantilever Bridge, a 7D flight cinema, a science museum, and the Eighteen Waterfalls of Huangteng, catering to the diverse needs of different visitors.

In addition, the Tianmen Glass Cantilever Bridge in the scenic area has created eight world records with its world‑renowned annular waterfall and unique canyon cantilever light show. It has become a well‑known internet‑famous check‑in spot and is regarded as a masterpiece of glass corridor bridges in Guangdong. Every year, over one million tourists from across the country come here to check in.

The scenic area is equipped with facilities such as parking lots, luggage storage, and convenience stores, providing convenient services for visitors. At the same time, the scenic area also offers free internal shuttle buses for easy access to the rafting and mountain‑top attractions.
