Product Details

Menara Kuala Lumpur was completed in 1995. Standing at 421 metres tall, it was the fourth tallest tower in the world at the time, and as of 2020 it still holds the seventh position. It is also the tallest tower in Southeast Asia and ranks fifth worldwide among communication towers. Located on Coffee Hill in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, with the hill itself at an elevation of 94 metres, the tower has a net height of 421 metres. Its surface features vertical arched ribs, and the tower weighs 100,000 tonnes. It was built without piling, directly on an independent plot of land, and its wind‑resistant structure is capable of withstanding winds of up to 90 miles per hour. It is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.930-2.jpg

Observation Deck

The observation deck of Menara Kuala Lumpur is an excellent spot for visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kuala Lumpur. Standing on the observation deck, one can take in the full panorama of the city, including the Petronas Twin Towers, the city's building clusters, and the lush green hills and rivers. Whether it is the bustling vibrancy of the day or the dazzling lights at night, the view offers a breathtaking visual experience. In addition, the observation deck is equipped with free telescopes, allowing visitors to enjoy the distant views with greater clarity.930-1.jpg

Sky Walk

• Thrilling Experience: The Sky Walk is one of the signature features of Menara Kuala Lumpur. Visitors can stroll along the circular walkway around the tower without any large wire mesh or glass shielding obstructing their view, with hundreds of metres of open air below their feet — a truly thrilling experience.930-6.jpg

• Transparent Glass Walkway: Near the end of the sky walk, visitors will pass through a transparent glass walkway. As they step onto it, not only does it play the sound effect of glass shattering, but the glass panels underfoot also display a cracking visual effect, delivering a powerful sensory impact.

• Glass Houses: Along the circular walkway, there are two glass houses with extremely high transparency. Visitors can clearly see the houses and buildings below, as if floating in the air, enjoying an unobstructed and spectacular view.

Other Facilities

Menara Kuala Lumpur also houses a revolving restaurant, a sky‑view banquet hall, and communication facilities, among others. The revolving restaurant is located on level TH02, where visitors can enjoy delicious food while taking in the beautiful views of Kuala Lumpur. As the restaurant rotates, a full 360‑degree panoramic view of the city unfolds before their eyes.

Transportation Guide

Visitors can take the Kuala Lumpur Monorail to Bukit Nanas Station and then walk approximately 5 minutes to reach Menara Kuala Lumpur. If taking a taxi, the fare from the city centre to Menara Kuala Lumpur is approximately RM10–20 during peak hours.930-5.jpg
