The National Gallery Singapore is the world's first museum dedicated to modern Southeast Asian art, housing a collection that includes works from across the Nanyang region. In particular, the gallery offers visitors a unique and vibrant experience. Besides enjoying a wide array of fine art and exhibitions, visitors can also savour distinctive Singaporean and Southeast Asian cuisine at the museum's restaurants. The National Gallery is transformed from two of Singapore's most iconic historic buildings — the former Supreme Court and City Hall. It aims to become a leading visual arts institution that connects art from Singapore, Southeast Asia, and around the world, continually inspiring and engaging the public. With a total floor area of 64,000 square metres, it is the largest visual arts venue in Singapore and the region.

The Gallery houses a significant collection of artworks from Singapore and Southeast Asia, focusing on art from the 19th century to the present day, and presenting the social, economic, and political history of Singapore and regional cultures. In addition, the Gallery will collaborate with international museums such as the Centre Pompidou in France and the Tate Modern in the UK to host international exhibitions, projecting Southeast Asian visual arts into a global artistic context and fostering mutual dialogue.

Younger visitors can enjoy a unique art experience at the Keppel Centre for Art Education. This is the first art education centre of its kind in Singapore and the region, offering art activities suitable for children and families. Through engaging multi‑sensory learning experiences and dedicated study spaces for secondary and tertiary students, it ensures that students of all ages can find enjoyment and inspiration.
