Blueline Park Beach Train (Sky Capsule)

Offers a unique aerial glass capsule experience, allowing you to enjoy the panoramic views of Busan's coastline.

Haeundae Blueline Park Beach Train was originally an abandoned railway track, which was renovated and officially opened in 2020. Stretching 4.8 kilometres in total length, it features seven stations along the route, along with wooden boardwalks and a skywalk observation deck, enabling visitors to appreciate the coastal scenery in different ways. This is one of the hottest attractions in Busan, South Korea – you must ride the [Sky Capsule Train]!! A must‑visit at Haeundae Blueline Park!! The colourful and adorable capsule cars race along the coastal cliff track converted from the old Donghae Nambu Line railway – not only are the cars cute, but you can also see the super dreamy Busan sea view, and then take a side trip to the "Korean version of Slam Dunk level crossing"!!

Oryukdo Skywalk

A glass‑floored observatory extending over the sea, offering breathtaking views of the Oryukdo islets.

The old place name for Oryukdo Skywalk was "Seungdumal". Because the terrain resembled a saddle, it was called "Seungduma", which later evolved into "Seungdumal". Local haenyeo (female divers) and residents called it "Jallokgae" (Saddle Hill). Legend has it that Seungduma longed for the sea, and after successfully nurturing the six islets of Oryukdo, the raised part contracted, forming the dock and the small hill at the entrance. This place is also the boundary between the East Sea and the South Sea.

On 12th September 2012, construction of the skywalk began here, and it opened on 18th October 2013. To express the meaning of "walking in the sky", this walkway was named "Oryukdo Skywalk". The skywalk is a horseshoe‑shaped structure, with steel beams installed on a 35‑metre‑high coastal cliff, onto which 24 glass panels have been connected. The total length is 15 metres. The glass at the bottom of the walkway is specially made of four layers of 12mm thick glass panels with bulletproof film, resulting in a high‑load bulletproof glass with a total thickness of 55.49mm. Particular attention was paid to safety during the design.

Through the transparent glass under your feet, you can see the waves crashing against the cliff, which is dizzying yet thrilling and exciting. The sea in front of the walkway shows beautiful and varied colours depending on the time and light, making it a popular spot for photography. On clear days, this is the closest place to view Tsushima Island.

Huinnieoul Culture Village (Baeksecheon Culture Village)

A picturesque seaside village known for its narrow alleyways, vivid murals, and stunning sea views.

Listed as one of my must‑visit attractions for this Busan free‑and‑easy trip, it is Huinnieoul Culture Village located on Yeongdo Island. You can think of it as Taipei's Treasure Hill, but built along the coast. Here you can browse unique arts and crafts shops, find a sea‑view café to relax and gaze at the ocean, and take a stroll along the Jeolyoung Coastal Walkway and coastal tunnel – everywhere exudes a comfortable and carefree atmosphere full of art and life.

Gamcheon Culture Village

Often called the Machu Picchu of Busan, visitors can see a sea of colourful, terraced small houses lined up along the hillside, as if falling into a scene only found in fairy tales. Located in Saha District, Busan, South Korea, Gamcheon Culture Village was once referred to by foreign media as "the most artistic village in Asia". Full of murals, graffiti, and installation art, Gamcheon Village itself is a super‑large artwork and the hottest emerging attraction in Busan, visited by over 300,000 travellers every year.
