Hangzhou Xixi National Wetland Park Ticket + Electric Boat Ticket

Xixi National Wetland Park is located in the western part of Hangzhou, only 6 kilometres from Wulin Gate in the main urban area of Hangzhou and just 5 kilometres from West Lake. Xixi originated during the Han and Jin dynasties, developed in the Tang and Song dynasties, flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties, declined in the Republic of China era, and revived in modern times. In Hangzhou's history, there was a saying that 'West Lake, Xixi, and Xiling' were collectively known as the 'Three Wests.' Historically, Xixi covered an area of about 60 square kilometres, while the total area of Xixi Wetland currently under protection is approximately 10.38 square kilometres.

It features ten scenic spots including 'Autumn Reed Flying Snow, Gaozhuang Imperial Trail, Fishing Village Misty Rain, Hezhu Listening to Melodies, Dragon Boat Festival, Winding Water Seeking Plum Blossoms, Fire Persimmons Reflecting Waves, Lotus Beach Egret Shadows, Hong Garden Lingering Charm, and Jianjia Glowing Moonlight,' as well as three causeways: 'Fu Causeway, Lü Causeway, and Shou Causeway.' Xixi is a rare wetland in China that integrates urban wetland, agricultural wetland, and cultural wetland, and it is also one of the earlier national wetland parks in the country. Xixi Wetland embodies five major thematic cultural elements: 'Buddhist, Secluded, Folk, Leisurely, and Wild,' with zoning characteristics of 'South Secluded, North Folk, East Bustling, West Tranquil.' The essence of Xixi culture is 'One Garden, Five Places': Hong Garden, the premiere site of Yue Opera, the sanctuary of poets, the birthplace of Water Margin, the retreat of literati, and the condensed folk customs. Xixi boasts 300 mu of plum forests, cultivating varieties such as Jiangmei, Gongfen, Zhusha, Lü'e, Yudie, and Meirenmei.

A great place to enjoy plum blossoms in Xixi is the Meizhu Leisure Area, where Meizhu Villa and Xixi Plum Lodge are clustered; many plum trees are also planted along the Mei Causeway from Zhoujia Village to Gaozhuang. From November and December to March of the following year, different varieties of plum blossoms bloom successively.
