Sanya Phoenix Ridge Sea & Love Oath Scenic Area is a national AAAA‑level tourist attraction, with the main peak at an elevation of about 400 metres. It is the highest point in the urban area of Sanya, a themed tourist attraction combining phoenix culture and love culture. Here, you will find beautiful tropical rainforests, with over 640 species of higher plants from 50 families and more than 32 species of wild animals—it is a living encyclopaedia of tropical plants and animals. It has clean air, with negative oxygen ions as high as 5,500 per m³, earning it the name 'The Lung of Sanya'. There is also a luxurious aerial sea‑viewing cable car, hailed as the 'Rolls‑Royce of the sky', and a Crystal Chapel at the summit, standing 9,999 millimetres tall, symbolising everlasting love; 8,520 millimetres wide, meaning 'I love you'; and 1,314 centimetres long, representing 'a lifetime'. It is a coveted wedding photography destination in Hainan.

Climbing up Phoenix Ridge allows you to experience the grandeur of Sanya's mountains, sea, and city, while also enjoying its unique romantic charm. Standing on the scenic area’s 360° cantilevered observation walkway, you can overlook the four bays and eight scenic spots of Sanya, taking in all the beauty of the city. It is an excellent spot in Sanya to watch the sunset and enjoy the night view of the urban area.
