Yunfu Xin Xing Tianlu Mountain Resort

Tianlu Mountain is 1,251 metres above sea level. The scenery here is beautiful, with lush green trees all year round, and it is especially charming when the azaleas are in bloom. The scenic area also features recreation facilities such as wooden villa cabins and a mid‑mountain hot spring paradise. Every summer, the Zen Dragon Gorge rafting here attracts countless visitors. It is said that Tianlu Mountain nurtured Master Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Zen Buddhism, who became one of the three great sages of the East, reflecting the area's profound historical and cultural heritage.

When visiting Tianlu Mountain, if you hike the entire way on foot, it takes about 4 hours to reach the summit, which is also quite demanding on your physical strength. You can take the scenic area's sightseeing shuttle to the summit platform, then follow the stream downhill and enjoy the scenery along the way. From March to early May each year is when the azaleas on Tianlu Mountain are in full, splendid bloom. Along the way, you can also experience activities such as the flying fox zipline and rafting. When you are tired from all the fun, you can head to the hot spring hotel to rest and relax.
