New Taipei City, commonly referred to as New Taipei, is located in northern Taiwan. It was restructured from the former Taipei County in 2010. The city surrounds Taipei City on all sides, with the northeastern part also encircling Keelung City on three sides. It borders Yilan County to the southeast and Taoyuan City to the southwest. Notable bays in New Taipei City include Jinshan, Yeliu Harbour, Wanli, Shen'ao Harbour, Longdong Bay, and Fulong. Special agricultural products include sweet potatoes from Jinshan District, mushrooms from Sanzhi District, green bamboo shoots from Wugu District, and pomelos from Bali District.
