Gunma Prefecture

Gunma Prefecture is the backyard of Tokyo, famous for hot springs and mountain resorts. Kusatsu Onsen is Japan's number one hot spring, with strong acidic water offering remarkable therapeutic effects, and its lively hot spring street is bustling with activity. Karuizawa is a summer resort surrounded by forests, with the Hoshino Resort offering luxury and comfort. Ikaho Onsen features a nostalgic stone-stepped old town.
