Queensland

Queensland is located in the north-east of Australia, known as the 'Sunshine State' with warm weather all year round. The capital Brisbane features a man-made beach and the Story Bridge at South Bank. The Gold Coast is famous for Surfers Paradise and theme parks; Cairns is the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, where you can dive to see corals or take a cable car across the primeval rainforest. The local cuisine highlights fresh lobster, oysters, barramundi, and tropical fruits and specialty ice cream are not to be missed.
