London V&A East Museum Hosts Towards A Civic Museum Display by Tania Bruguera
The V&A East Museum in London is hosting a display titled Towards A Civic Museum by artist Tania Bruguera, developed in collaboration with young people from east London and the V&A East Youth Collective, and realised by Richard Paton at Rainbow Glass Studio.

The exhibition runs from Sunday, 20 September to Sunday, 18 October 2026. Opening hours are daily from 10.00 to 17.30. The display is located on the Lower Ground floor at the V&A East Museum, situated at 107 Carpenters Rd, London, E20 2AR. Admission is free.

The work takes the form of a statement of shared principles presented on stained glass. The composition reinterprets designs by Walthamstow-born artist William Morris through the cultural traditions representing east London's global population, with the names of all participants featured on the glass.
