Sydney Powerhouse Prepares Parramatta Opening with Five New Exhibitions and Thousands of Objects

SaveLocated in Sydney, Powerhouse stands as the largest museum group in Australia, operating across the intersection of arts, design, science and technology.
The upcoming Powerhouse Parramatta opening features five new exhibitions displaying more than 3,000 objects. The display includes 1,600 items from the Powerhouse Collection alongside 120 new acquisitions. Additionally, more than 780 significant objects are on loan from 300 lenders across Australia and internationally.
The exhibition program introduces over 45 new commissions originating from 14 countries. Featured programs include Task Eternal, The Mall, Overflow, Es Devlin: The Turning and The Dark.
The broader Powerhouse network encompasses Powerhouse Parramatta, Powerhouse Castle Hill, Sydney Observatory and Powerhouse Ultimo.
