Disney Adventure Adds Langkawi Stop to Singapore Sailings This December

So far, the Disney Adventure has kept its Singapore cruises entirely at sea, with guests spending three or four nights onboard without a scheduled port call. That is about to change.

From 31 December, selected four-night sailings will add a day of island-hopping, calling at Malaysia's Langkawi on day three of the itinerary while the rest of the voyage stays largely at sea.

Langkawi feels like a natural fit for a Southeast Asian cruise. Expect turquoise water, limestone cliffs and lush rainforest. The archipelago also holds Southeast Asia's first UNESCO Global Geopark status, with a geological story spanning more than half a billion years.

For travellers who like everything organised, Disney will also introduce Port Adventures — curated shore excursions — in Langkawi. Options are listed on the Disney Cruise Line website and can be booked online, through the Navigator app, or onboard.

The new stop comes at a price. A four-night Disney Adventure sailing without a port call in January 2027 starts at $1,620 per person, while an itinerary that calls at Langkawi starts at $1,915 — the extra $295 covering additional port charges, taxes and fees.

The Disney Adventure is hardly a modest ferry, either. Disney Cruise Line's eighth and largest ship carries up to 6,700 passengers across 20 decks, with seven themed areas keeping the magic alive long after Singapore slips over the horizon.
