About the exhibition

The Nam-Seoul Museum of Art presents "Sook Jin Jo: Passing Places," the second exhibition in its "Korea's Representative Sculptors" series. Based in New York for more than 40 years, Sook Jin Jo has worked across painting, sculpture, installation, photography, performance, public projects, and architecture. Featuring more than 100 works including major pieces, new works, previously unreleased drawings, and archives, the exhibition surveys her artistic practice, which has continued consistently from her early works to recent projects.

This is a rare opportunity to explore the breadth of Jo's artistic world, allowing audiences to appreciate her work more fully and encounter her art anew within the context of Korean contemporary art and an expanded international horizon.
