To mark its 25th anniversary, the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has launched the SLA25 Rediscovery Trail — a free, self-guided experience inviting the public to explore 25 SLA-managed State properties that have been thoughtfully revitalised through adaptive reuse.

Running until September 13, 2026, the trail spans a diverse mix of heritage buildings, lifestyle destinations and green spaces, including New Bahru, Dempsey, KADA, Gillman Barracks, Lau Pa Sat, Smith Street Chinatown, The Alkaff Mansion, Lazarus Island, St. John's Island, Chip Bee Gardens, and many more. In total, there are 25 stops to tick off, each with its own unique story and history waiting to be uncovered.

You could easily visit these spots on your own, but using the SLA25 web app unlocks extra perks. Checking in at each property reveals stories, hidden details and fun facts about the location. On top of that, you'll gain access to over 140 exclusive promotions — from dining and retail discounts to craft workshops and volunteering opportunities.

For those who love a challenge, there's a collector's incentive too. Participants earn one limited-edition SLA25 digital memento for every three state properties visited, with eight unique mementos to collect in total. To complete the full set, you'll need to visit all 25 locations before the trail wraps up.

Not sure where to begin? The trail also groups stops into themed routes — one for food lovers, one for families, and more — if tackling 25 spots feels overwhelming. Our tip: start with locations you'd visit anyway. New Bahru and Dempsey are already weekend staples, while Lau Pa Sat and KADA are easy to fold into an existing itinerary. Save Lazarus Island and St. John's Island for a dedicated day trip — ferries are required to reach these offshore gems.
